One of my most fav sub movies

There were so much great (anti)-war movies and today most newer movies about war center way more on action and often less on story, I guess. At least when it comes to the movies I have watched lately. There still are some good ones made, of course.

Badass movie.

I’ve lost count how many times I’ve seen this movie, it never gets old. Mitchum had so many great roles.

Last two dialogues are awesome. (Here's one.) Another reason for hope/ in the middle of an ocean/ in the middle of a war. You had to come a long way to find it.

Very very good movie

Um excelente video, assim como os demais da serie. Apenas uma observacao, ao contrario do afirmado, acho que a decisao de nao ordenar a terceira onda de ataque a Pearl Harbour foi do Almirante Nagumo, que era o comandante tático no local, e nao do Almirante Yamamoto, que exerceu o comando estrategico, permanecendo em Tokio e nao tendo influencia direta sobre o desenrolar da batalha em tempo real.

A mais completa e mais bem feita serie sobre a WWII que eu ja encontrei no UA-cam. Ansioso pra chegar logo no ultimo episodio. Obg por esta excelente obra

Maravilhosa serie. Assisti ate o episodio 6 na versao em ingles, e entao descobri estas versoes em portugues. Com isso estou podendo assistir em velocidade 1,5X e passando mais rapido de um episodio para o outro. Mal posso esperar para iniciar a assistir o episodio 8!!!

The greatest war movie I ever saw……

I was assigned to a 'can', a Destroyer Escort, we had 10 times the firepower. But everything this film shows is still pretty much SOP. Good movie, great cast. Hollywood will never be able to match these great films.!

Howdy, Thank you for sharing this classic movie, I really enjoyed watching this movie, this is my 4th time watching it, this was when actors were actors, no blue screens, just good scripts, with good actors, telling a good story, while actually acting, I saved this movie the first time I watched it, and have no doubt, I'll be watching it again one day, Very Cool movie indeed..

What a movie! Completely inaccuratel but still awesome!

The destroyer sitting above the sub which is on the bottom is for any length of time and still being right over the sub is BS, the destroyer didn't drop anchor it would of drifted about 5 mph due to current. The sub could of lightly came off the bottom and drifted away from the destroyer if the destroyer had its active sonar off. I guess the sub captain didn't know about thermal layers either.

This movie inspired Star Trek Gene Roddenberry to make Balance of Terror. Then later on Quality of Mercy..
