Kaya she was my first doll she's in my doll collection i love kaya very much

I just ordered her yesterday on Amazon and combined with Amazon Prime rewards, I got her for $29! I cannot wait for her to get here. I think she will become my new comfort doll. On my UA-cam channel, I have different doll content. I do OG dolls, Licca dolls, Disney, Barbie, Momoko. I will eventually share my AG collection. I watch who I watch on UA-cam because I like to see another’s doll collection. So my channel is about my love of my dolls and to share them. They’re not the best and I stumble over my words. Please don’t worry about sharing other dolls in your collection. Do the videos for you and your dolls. I think your videos are great and sincere.

Self care is very important I knit and crochet to relax. It was nice you had that time with your grandma and extended family. Happy belated birthday. The fabrics are really nice.

Congrats on deciding to learn how to sew. I have wanted to do the same. I have a vintage sewing machine from my Step Mom. It’s a bit intimidating. I need to set aside some time to learn how to use my machine. Sewing is a fun but challenging hobby. I can’t wait to see what you make.

Your Grandmother is very wise. You should totally cut down on dolls and buy a historical house to decorate with dolls. Love it!

If you use sewing patterns make sure a copy of the pattern so can save the original so when the copy wears out you’re have an un damaged pattern as a bad up.

A very nice video and thank you for sharing. I was 26 when they released the original 3 historical dolls and I so wanted Kirsten but I was a young mother and the dolls were expensive especially back then. My daughter wasn’t interested in larger dolls and really loved Sailor Moon. It wasn’t until I met my future step-granddaughter that I was brought back to the American Girl, even though I had been a fashion doll collector for over 30 years. I bought two brand new American Girl dolls and they were Nanaea and Kaya, and not Kirsten. I only ever got the 3 original as used dolls.

Maybe summer is a place holder name or a code name before she comes out. AG changes the name for the doll too or it could be a name for a pet or someone in the book

The only goty who knits was Chrissa 2009. Historical Rebecca Rubin crochets so having a GOTY crochet or knitting is definitely over do

American Girl takes up to 2 years for a girl of The Year like the name the story and products and Even longer for a new face mold. So AG getting GOTY 2025 in production and working on here isn't surprising.

Thank you. The Cherry blossoms were in bloom when I brought her home from the cat shelter and that inspired the name❤ She doesn’t seem to have a favourite doll. I usually display my favourites of the moment standing on the floor in front of my tv. They are the perfect height for her to get a little doll scratch. 😄😸

I love the name Summer! It would be really nice to see a cat theme with this doll. I am a cat lover too. Miss Penny Blossom often likes to rub her cheeks against the fingers of my dolls. It’s so cute!

Nice video. Congratulations on your paper and sharing. My AG dolls of color are slowly building up in my collection. I have many in my fashion doll collection though. I admire that you take your life experiences and bring them into your dolls. I started collecting Barbies when I was 28 and was really shy about it. When I talked to a therapist many years ago about my doll collecting, she said it was my way of healing my inner child. She validated it and ever since, my collection has grown over the years. BTW I just started buying OG dolls and oh boy, they are so addicting! Addison, how about Ayla (clan of the cave bear) or even Dison, abbreviation of her name. Enjoy your family of dolls!

I think she looks good in both. Maybe you can cut a small slit on the knitted cap to fit better? The hat does look cute even if it sits a little bit high. I love OG dolls. Do you still collect this brand?
