On Boxing Day, hundreds of hardy folk across the tiny Isle get together to take part in two great Manx traditions: Hunt the Wren in the morning, then it's off to St Johns for 'Cammag'. With tales of knobbly sticks, zero rules and (friendly) fights on the field, we thought it best to find out from those in the know - 3 generations of Callisters who've been playing it for decades. 3 generations o...

Following the 1906 poem of William Gell, Mannin Veg Veen, he's brought us to St Patrick's Isle, and he mentions the figure of Fenella from Sir Walter Scott's 1823 novel, Peveril of the Peak. We look at part of Sir Walter's description of Fenella from Chapter Sixteenth, as it appears in his book, before resuming a rapid journey up the west coast to the Point of Ayre. As it is pantomime season, w...

When Honda ruled the road. They just don't seem to have the desire anymore. I heard a "6" at Daytona vintage bike race back when Daytona had match races and the vintage bikes were on display, the Old 200 Days.
It sounds like a formula 1 car in the distance awesome ❤
And this ain't a 2 stroke !
Joe Locke! He’s so adorable!
Imagine having one of those as an early shift working neighbour....

God Gary is adorable, even as a 60 something year old man.
Gee ...for a RADIO MAN you would think he'd be more aware of how a microphone should be handled and to speak clearly and enunciate properly. I got through about 3 minutes ..and then I had enough. sooooo?

Life changing experience for me on Phoenix, I now live by the sea and work for myself after realising I wanted a more free lifestyle for me and my family. I am very lucky and indebted to Phoenix and the then owners Square Sail...

Just discovered this - what a beautiful song.
First gear a bit high.
You're doing a great service to the people, Courtenay (It is the same here in Canada, of course). Your efforts will be fully appreciated one day, when enough eyes have opened. I remember your sharing of important messages previously, at Tynwald and elsewhere, and I look forward to meeting you again (when I'm next on the island). I wish more people had your courage.
Its really nice seeing Davey and Maria talking 6 years ago. Now wining the Senior is a dream come true. Looking forward to TT 2025
Im amazed the horse trams have gone. Tinwald should be proud of their heritage. Charles is quite right. Its the same here in Yorkshire.

Oh, Shut up government, 😠 you guys a absolutely useless! You waste money on roads & make ridiculous rules up which nobody likes. For example wheres the evidence behind banning E-scooters? What are you guys doing about clean energy & water sewage solutions making sure that the human waste is 100% clean that gets pumped out to the sea. We all know that Manx Utilities have been trying to get clean energy and you guys always delay it and when you guys switch government you always put the blame on Manx Utilities. SO YOU GUYS ARE ABSOLUTELY 💩! NO ONE LIKES A GOVERNMENT LIKE THAT!
