Prickly pears are the best food ever and I am trying my best to get pads rooted for the Spring. I LOVE you guys and can't wait to watch my babies grow. I bought some a year before and they grew like crazy but were overexposed to extreme sun and heat. They slowed down on growth all together. I worry they're diseased or dying but they're desert glow.

Is there much of a difference in performance in these in southern climates? I'm in South Carolina upstate.
