I've been watching your videos for a couple of weeks now. I enjoy the deck tech segments the best. You have a lot of good insights on deck building and the meta, not just the actual deck you're playing. I'm going back to 'like' all the videos I got something out of. Good job man, keep it up. Just started f2p recently and found your channel looking for a cheap deck to craft. Crafted this deck - climbed to Mythic pretty quickly! Not sure about deciding when to mulligan still though, not getting one drops feels pretty bad but the lack of draw power hurts when your curve is bad. Was considering subbing in Gobakhan after playing against someone using your BW flyers, but not sure if it belongs in BO1, and not a lot of wildcards to spare 😅 Amazing deck either way!

Glad to see more play of this deck. I know I always question when to blow Requisition Raid, vs expanding my board.

Day 5 asking for an Ashroot Animist deck!! I believe UB is the best bird deck (better than your BW IMO)..do you think mocking bird would be good in this deck?

Thx for sharing the awesome deck Made a rares included version with Aven Interruptor and Mocking Bird+ Silent hallcreeper,playing 3 of each so in theory I got 10 scavenger,saiba and so on having 4 hard and 4 soft counters on creatures is so freaking awesome So again thx a lot and keep up the awesome content

Hi Mike, always love your Rat decks. have you seen what happens when you play in Alchemy the Shellfish Scholar, with Overlord of Balemark and Vren the Relentless. you just end up with millions of 11 power rats. don't know how it works, but I was stunned. it would be great if you had a look at it for me., because it has wide implications for other decks as well that benefit you for having sorcery or instants in your graveyard.

Hey Mike, love the content and this deck. How about removing the drinkers and adding one more cauldron and two Valgavoth's Faithful. They can be one mana fodder, 4 or 5 mana reanimator and if you exile with cauldron every creature becomes a reanimator. Very funny with roots because all untapped plants become permanent 3 mana reanimator because the reanimation triggers roots again.

Haywire mite can only exile noncreature enchantment so it wouldn't work for the creature omniscience tho! 😢

Enjoyed giving this a go! Arena still managed to find a way to screw me though. The amount of times I got completely land swamped while playing this was RIDICULOUS. Should not happen in a 16 land deck! Very frustrating. Really enjoyed watching you play it though haha.

The First Game is really Something

I've never seen Oculus like this. Always something turn 4 annoyance like Valgavoth or Omniwhatever or Atraxa... It's kind of annoying when against me,they always have the perfect combo in their hand...(If you're going to make me play Oculus,I'm going to do something....I don't yet know what,but definitely something. Then again,I'm not sure I have all 4...Oculus-es? Oculi? Don't know.) Take care!

Just so that people know: this is a very high variance deck. If you run into some bad matchups or do not have that much luck with the draws, you might have a bad time. I consider me as not a bad player with over 15 years of playing experiences...but in a lot of matchups it just did not cut it, as our card quality (beside a few bombs) is very bad and relies a lot on synergies between the cards. I really like the idea and originality of it though - just do not expect the same stats as Mike with such a low sample size.

Would love to try it, it's good to try no rare decks as you don't use up those wildcards that are hard to get. The shuffler must love you because 16 land is hard to believe. That exile card is amazing, never even seen that one before.
