Crossing the Nullarbor: One of Australia's EPIC road journeys - 3 days & over 1400 km (Episode 24)
In this week's episode we take on one of Australia's most EPIC road journeys: the crossing of the Nullarbor.
The Nullarbor is not a journey to be taken lightly, and many a car has not made it the whole way (as you will see in this video). There are many hundreds of kilometres without any towns and not much other than a few fuel stops and some overnight rest areas.
Nevertheless, there are still some interesting and quirky sights to be see along the way. We got to see:
- the stunning pink lake, Lake MacDonnell
- an old abandoned roadhouse and car cemetery at Koonalda
- a blowhole
- wild dingoes
- the amazing Bunda Cliffs
- cool and creepy caves at Madura
- and even some space junk from the 70s!
Don't let anyone tell you a Nullarbor crossing has to be boring! It's a long road, but a journey we'll never forget!

Eyre Peninsula, South Australia: the prettiest beaches, and one of the scariest roads (Episode 23)
Переглядів 598День тому
In this week's episode we travel around the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia. Eyre Peninsula is one of those places that you see on Instagram and wonder if the photos are really real. We had some great days on Eyre Peninsula, but not everywhere lived up to the hype (mostly because it was really windy when we were there). We did have some amazing days at some really stunning beaches, including ...

In this week's episode we leave Victoria and travel into South Australia, where we visit the towns of Mount Gambier and Robe. We've found that it is often these smaller and less talked about places that offer up some of the best experiences, and Mount Gambier and Robe definitely delivered. Come with us as we visit interesting sink holes, get an (almost) private tour of an underground cave syste...

We start this week's episode in Geelong. We then travel to the start of the Great Ocean Road at Torquay. Along the way we stayed at Lorne, Apollo Bay and Port Campbell and visited many of the key Great Ocean ...

Since watching Elnick Adventures' episode on the Murray River early in our trip planning we had wanted to visit this part of Australia. The Murray River is an inland fishing hot spot, and a really interesting part of Australia to explore. We started our week with a quick stopover in the town of Rochester where we made the most of one of the many free camps in this region. We then made our way f...

We were told by the locals that the Sapphire Coast was a beautiful spot to spend some time while in New South Wales and this part of Australia did not disappoint. There are so many beautiful beach towns along this part of the coast that it is hard to decide where to visit. We stopped in for a quick visit to Narooma to see the seal colony and to grab a snap at the famous Australia Rock (you can ...

In this week's episode we take a quick trip out to the coast for a spot of sunshine and snorkelling, before heading back inland to explore Australia's capital city, Canberra. Canberra is a small city with a whole lot to offer, and it's a fantastic place to visit as a family. We didn't really know what to expect from Canberra, but we were blown away with all of the great family friendly activiti...

@@stephanieannamoran thanks for reaching out! I’d be hesitant to recommend anyone at this stage since we are only just getting started. We are working with Tui Air BnB Management, and so far they seem to be good so far but it’s still early days for us. There are a few others that had good google reviews but some don’t service our area. I’m happy to come back and do an update in a few months once we have a bit more experience! 😊
