Hi, Dr. Thatch. I'm Alan. This was a great interview. I work with MeMe on her projects!
Thank you so much for the feed-forward! MeMe is such a joy and a wealth of knowledge and love.
Nice try
Dei gives undeserving LOSERS a chance to fuck up something they shouldn’t even be given the time of day. Ya kiss my ass weirdo’s
Urban black brown Asian and others this was born by Politicians this not created by all minority people. You are chewing fake gum
Let’s talk about it!
Eat and bag of coxmeat burgers. There's enough real victims in this world without crisis actors or paid victims
There will never be equity
@@bamaclay9614 Never is such a strong word…I hear you though! Every now and then I experience equity in my life. It is during those times that I know it is possible.
Equality is a fair shot not equity. Equity is about making an adjustment based on what someone defines is fair. Problem with it is that no one can define fair. Switch equity back to equality and DEI will be respected by all again.
@@josephstjames6642 Thanks for your feedback. Fair is definitely in the eyes of the beholder. Trust me, we all want it.
@@thelathatch here is another way to look at it. Usain Bolt and I are set up for a 100m race. In an equal world we would have to follow the same rules to win. But this isn’t really fair as Usain was born with gifts that I wasn’t. This in equitable world I would have a different starting position. At first glance this seems more fair but completely overlooks the long hours he put into training that I did not. How can you judge what’s fair? In my opinion you can’t. Thus “as Martin Luther King said” we must strive for a world where everyone has the same equal opportunities.
@@josephstjames6642As glamorous as that sounds, it's bullshit. Usain Bolt stood out in a small country that competes internationally. There are a number of Usain Bolts, but even getting on the track is a different endeavor. Consider transgender folks competing based on "raw God given talent" when we know scientifically both biologically and physiologically, men are built different than women by design. Clearly other men thought these men who couldn't win in their own male catagory could win in the female one if they just showed up. So, was it really talent or was it political pull that made the track/court/pool a level playing field? 😮 Those who facilitate who gets to participate are often left out of the equation. If you live in Texas and don't pay big money for a travel team, a private coach etc, there is a good chance your kiddo won't make the middle school sports team. It isn't just based on hard work and natural talent, there are many factors that equitable and equality aren't present as we look at cheating schemes and secret handshakes to get into college, let alone to be on a college team where the athletes likeness and image is now a money maker changes the "fairness" dynamic, as we know people do a lot to put their kids in the best financial positions at any cost.
Dei can't die soon enough. Why do you hate yourself so much? You can't hate others that much unless you completely hate yourself and have totally given up on ever being a decent person.
This is wonderful. I’m so happy to be a part of this community ❤
Welcome to our community!! No questions are off limit!😅
I love the energy and vibes here! Positive and sound advice
I appreciate that!
Thank you! I appreciate you!!
This was a great conversation! Thank you for having me. Books: Peter Lynch, "One Up on Wall Street"; Mehrsa Baradaran, "How the Other Half Banks"; Benjamin Graham, "The Intelligent Investor"
Thanks for sharing such important information!
It’s clear that effective leadership is more than just about titles-it's about mindset, authenticity, and connecting with teams. As LaVada shared, leadership development must go beyond the basics to truly empower people at all levels. Can’t wait to implement these takeaways into my own leadership journey! Highly recommend this episode to anyone looking to inspire and lead with impact.
Thanks for the info. Great video!
Thanks!
I’m so glad you could share your brain with us!
I had to watch this again myself!😅
