I have the AL 800 and it fell to bits after I extended it a couple of times . Also it was supposed to be interchangeable with a small whip antenna supplied but the telescopic Ariel is now spinning and not unscrewing so not so interchangeable now!! Lol. I would be interested in a follow up review after a bit of use... Also try out the Tidradio h3... That's my next "go to" radio after the uvk5 (8).😉👍
