Double Diamond freefall. My start into bowing was on Double Diamond A2 in Lethbridge at Capri Sports Bowl in 1985. This brings back memories. Fun fact: Double Diamond Pinsetters had an extra board in the lanes to accommodate the size of the pinsetters.

At 4.05 I think the send one from the right in the first row is my aunt Charlotte from Kingston, Ontario. I remember how she talked about bowling and she was glad that I had taken up the sport and as good as I was 221 average she was even better, she did not tell me her average but I know she once scored a perfect game. Is there any way you can find out the names of these bowlers, she would have played in the 50's for sure.

3 balls a frame. Strike, spare and complete or open when left standing. I can't remember the scoring bits along the lines of 10 pin except head pin is 3, 2 pins are 2 and back 2 are 1 points each. I think. My apologies if I'm wrong. Better game to play than watch.

Never mentioned how the scoring is done with strikes and spares.

I've seen duckpin bowling in Massachusetts but never seen this. How does one make spares?

Really small quibble: The sound effect at the start of these videos is of a 10-pin splash. Any chance of finding a (maybe hopped up) version of a 5-pin splash?
