In this video I walk-through the process of how to enable loudness EQ on any sound device within windows 11, this can also work on windows 10.
It’s achieved through a simple registry edit by adding or amending 3 separate string values as per the guide instructions below.
To enable Microsoft's APO including Loudness EQ for your sound device, you do this by editing the registry:
1. Find the registry key of your sound device under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\MMDevices\Audio\Render by looking inside the Properties key.
2. Then, in the FxProperties key, add or replace the following string values:

3. Once you enter the 3 string values, if done correctly you should now be able to see the Enhancements tab within the Sound devices Properties.
