My most recent yard sale find received a makeover with 5 minutes and a bit of stain. Enjoy. #ikeahack #furnituremakeover #woodworking #diycrafts
It’s really cool that you have the technological expertise to do your haunt. The things you would be able to do…….. When it comes to Halloween, I will NEVER grow up. Though my haunt is done in a]the dark style.
Love the planning that went into it. Lightning effect is by far my favorite. How are you keeping the projector for the faces out of the weather? I saw that you watched my coffin video, and I think you could take my weathering techniques and apply it to your tombstones. You could use aluminum foil rolled into a ball and roll it over the foam to texture it. Chip out chunks with a razor blade. Use a masonry paint like Drylok mixed with sand. Paint them Grey and hit them with some weathering sprays. Then dry brush white.
Thanks! I didn't actually leave it out there, on nights I wanted the heads to be on, I would set up and bring the projector back inside. If this was a permanent, not seasonal installation, I would probably build an enclosure for it 📥
@thealchemistbuilds put santa hats on them. Boom, Christmas decorations. Bunny ears for Easter. Uncle Sam hat for the 4th. Now you've got an excuse to make it permanent.
TIL, bulb string lights can shine through styrofoam. Pretty clever alchemist builds!
Awesome work! New friend 👍
Damm that looks really really good 👍
Thank you 🎃👻
It looks awesome, but I think the coolest thing to finish it off is get the haunted mansion amnitronic from lowes
@@Pumpkinsprop I have more haunted mansion plans for next year 👀
You did a great job!
@@SomewhereTrek thanks so much 👻
As a former Disney Cast member I can honestly say I am impressed. With the hike in theme park prices I suspect that more people will be creating their own shows
@@DougYeager-i8b thank you!! what attracting did you work on?
@@thealchemistbuilds I worked Future World Attractions at EPCOT from Dec. ‘84 to Jan. ‘94. The list of attractions is long. Universe of Energy, Wonders of Life, Journey into Imagination, The Living Seas and Spaceship Earth. (And a bunch of minor exhibits)
Where do you get the box to connect the light with the speakers and how much is it

So the tombstones... little pro tip for weathering. I mix 1 part black paint to 5 parts drywall mud to create a tombstone grey.. i kind of go easy on the black until its the right color. But that layer makes an incredible weather agent, sealing everything. And then i add other spray paints from there.
Do you have any problems with your LOR channels getting stuck “on” because of the LED floods? I’ve had this trouble in the past and not sure how to remedy it.
Not yet, I had an issue once with a few triac controllers going out (but this would just keep the lights from turning on at all). I send the box back to LOR for repairing this.
Good to know! I’m wondering if my LED spots were too low wattage. So ordered some 300W spots. We’ll see what happens 😆
Great job!
this is amazing dude. i love that everything is homeade
The fact that beat my display and it’s your first year decorating is insane😂
Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooow!!!!!!!!! 😍🤩
This was such a great video. You did an awesome job. It turned out amazing. Hope you have a great Halloween 🎃… also.. I subbed 👍
Thanks! A great compliment from THE Halloween Dan!
@@thealchemistbuilds😂😂😂 your channel is about to explode because your style of video is excellent! Thanks for the compliment of seemingly knowing who I am 😂🎃
Loooove process
Hey..I think I know the guy in Scotland video! 😏ua-cam.com/video/BvXHkAJPK0k/v-deo.html
This channel is absolutely underrated, it turned out amazing btw
Thank you 🙏
This guy is absolutely insane in all the right ways! Keep up the amazing content bro!
Insane, indeed 🙃
bro you have a solid concept here. you know how to do the work. you know how to film it. (and make it interesting) and you are a great editor. make a list of your top 10 build ideas and just start cranking them out. stay on course and the audience will find you. also make a 1 minute edit of these for social media and use the traffic to drive views to the full YT version. excited to watch the next project.
Appreciate that man, I'm really enjoying your stuff as well!
cool miniature to reveal transition
great work bro! that really came to life in the dark.
It did! The drone doesn't do great in low light but not too bad.
THIS IS THE MOST UNDERRATED CHANNEL EVERR
SOME HOW I HAVE MORE SUBS THAN YOU HOW DOSE THAT WORK!!!
just by chance but you want me to make you a better thumbnail for your video because thumbnails is what gets the views!
Thank you sir!!
This was awesome! Love the outcome :D
Thank you! Cheers!
So did you cut into the beam at all? Or only drywall? Before you realized it was structural
Luckily, just the drywall. I had done a similar project to a different closet in my house and the "header" was just framed-in drywall...which I suspected to be the same here, but did not take into account its placement in the home (down the middle).. anyways... something I could have figured out quickly with a stud finder prior to cutting drywall!
Your work is unadulterated Pure Eye Candy. I’m loving it. New subscriber here. Keep the Candy coming please.
You are one talented man!!
This video is only the beginning of what will certainly be some brilliant and quality content! I can assure you that this guy is nothing but class. Can’t wait for the next video! Keep up the solid work.
Love it ❤
Thank you 🙏
We had a desk like this, we used to put our typewriter on it, my dad had been a Navy lifer and that is probably where he got it from. Unfortunately, I think we left it in the House when my parents died because it was so heavy. Thanks for the memories.
I'm glad this brought back good memories of your parents. Thank you for watching!
Gorgeous!
Thanks Boss!
That gel stain sure looked good on the desk.
Love the result & your attention to detail👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼…with ONE exception…why didn’t you replace the one leg at the front of this that’s a completely different shape to the rest of the legs???
I was hoping no one noticed 🧐... chuck it to my impatience 😅
I actually like the odd leg...adds a bit of quirky-ness to the piece!
Very nicely done
Thank you very much!
Thank you for watching 🎉
I converted my backpack into a mini-bar in the same say -- I put booze bottles in it.
It's gorgeous; I would recommend you buy a few mini bottles of all your favorites, and a half gallon for refills; that way you don't spend exponentially more by buying dozens of mini bottles. Just a thought from a cheapskate:)
You, my friend, are a genius 🧠 🥃
This video deserves a comment! Great job! Sometimes a quick update to a piece of furniture, or a piece of art can really elevate it!
Honestly, after watching thousands of furniture videos, this one ranks in my top five favorites. The ability to repurpose a piece of furniture into another use, with class, is one thing, but the quality of this video, the effects, music, and animations were really enjoyable and kept me hooked. And like that, a new subscriber. I can't wait for your next video!
Wow, what a compliment! I appreciate your sub!
Great job. Love the old bosto inventory tag. That famous government issue paint makes me smile. Have a few pieces of oak painted in that color. But a great job on saving what was essentially fire wood. Keep up the good work
Thank you, that green paint was a pain to remove !!
Nice work friend great restoration, look's great !!! . have a nice day friend, Brian UK !!!.😀😀👍👍.
Thank you my friend!
Very clever and nice touches with the inventory tag and the gold knob!
Thank you, the tag was one of my favorite elements!
What a great, innovative idea!! And it's beautiful.
Thanks for the kind words!
Incredible!!
Wooooooow
