Consciousness does a pretty good job at seeming to be strictly physical. It’s seemingly deriving from the brain, isn’t it? What happens to a consciousness or a “soul” that falls off his or her motorcycle and suffers severe brain trauma? It seems to me that if anything, each life is like a wave. All are destined to crash, but perhaps retracting back into an ocean of consciousness. There’d be similar waves but no two exactly the same. In death, we’d all awaken back within the ocean of consciousness. We’d all awaken, a single dreamer. The one and only, lonely one. If you were all that ever was, is and ever will be, you’d ultimately be nothing at all. You’d be everything.
