Sewing a Vintage Waistcoat and Trousers Pattern - Simplicity 3270 (Part I: Vest)
In this video, I take you through the things I did to make up this 1957 vintage sewing pattern. It was too small, so we see the modifications I made to size it up, my tips for the buttonholes on a looser weave fabric, and of course a reveal at the end. Though I forgot to film any of it, I promise I did a nice hand finish on the armhole facings. I hope you enjoy! I've been working on this and waiting to share since FEBRUARY!! Part two will be forthcoming as I am in the process of making the matching pants now.
This is a reupload with audio issues more or less fixed... probably.

Outer fabric: Mood Fabrics Clove and Oyster Gray Glen Plaid Blended Silk Tweed www.moodfabrics.com/clove-and-oyster-gray-glen-plaid-blended-silk-tweed-fs26544 - I ordered 2.5 yards, but some will be for the matching trousers.
Lining: Polyester Satin from JoAnn Fabrics

On October 29, I decided to sew a shirt for Halloween from a self-drafted pattern. On October 30, I decided to make a matching mask. The mask took longer. It is, in fact, a fully functioning yet fashionable mask, and the trim is removable for washing purposes (take notes, asos)

Damn, you're pretty good. Although, one suggestion I do have is for you to work on tonging and just getting a good stream of air which is just good for overall tone quality. This is especially helpful when playing to accompaniment.
