The Nebraska Zen Center - Heartland Temple is a Soto Zen Buddhist community in Omaha, Nebraska, dedicated to the practice of meditation, study, and the cultivation of compassion and wisdom in our lives and in the larger community.
The Nebraska Zen Center is one of the oldest Zen groups in the country, founded by Dainin Katagiri Roshi in 1975. We have been in our present location in the Bemis Park neighborhood in Omaha since 1992.
