French Hospital Medical Center is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality, affordable health services; serving and advocating for the poor and disenfranchised; and partnering with others in the community to improve the quality of life. French Hospital Medical Center Foundation supports this mission through fundraising and relationship building. The Foundation solicits philanthropic gifts, provides stewardship of these gifts, and grants funds to the hospital to advance the community's access to health care.
Amy's Cancer Journey
In July 2020, local resident Amy was diagnosed with stage three lobular carcinoma, a form of breast cancer. She found support, hope and lasting friendship through the Hearst Cancer Resource Center at French Hospital Medical Center, which provides support to local cancer patients at no charge. This is her story.
