Hey, I'm Blake and I'm based in Philadelphia, PA. I mostly post unedited live videos of concerts I've attended. Not looking for ad revenue, just capturing memories of some great live acts.
This channel is an evolution of an old site I used to run with the same name, back when I did still photography of concerts, mostly in the 90's-00's. Video is such a better medium for these kinds of memories wouldn't you say?
How do I pick the songs I want to record live? It's totally random, I swear. A big part of me doesn't want to catch the hits, but if I do get one, I go with it and continue recording. But usually, it's how into the show I am, and every few songs I'll pull out the camera and grab the entire song. I particularly like when we get some banter from the band and they add some uniqueness to the track. If I'm not close enough to get a good picture I usually don't post them.
