I can't find anything in detail about their diet. How often do you feed a baby/juvenile lizard? And until what age would they no longer need to be fed everyday? Are they similar to bearded dragons in that they need salads daily? Or are they strictly insectivores like leopard geckos? Thanks in advance to whoever is able to answer or refer me to a detailed care guide regarding their diet! :)

That cactus is the carrion flower. If it blooms it'll smell like rotting flesh. Mine never bloomed though :(

Liam has changed the game for me as a keeper. I got my first Bearded Dragon in 2016 and because I didn’t have updated information easily accessible to me, and didn’t know any better, I failed him miserably. He only lived to be 5. I got my second Beard Dragon in 2022, and vowed that I would do everything I could to seek out better information and learn everything I possibly could. Liam has helped facilitate that, and gave me a place to find updated, science based information. My girl is thriving! I now keep a variety of reptiles, and have been able to apply everything I’ve learned from him to how I keep all of them!

Ive never seen a wild eastern collard but every collard ive caught in CA and Utah have been near streams. Ive never seen one further than a few 100 meters from a water source. Which brings a little higher humidity.

Deep heat projectors are better to use than ceramic heating.
