Wizard of the Earthsea by Ursula K. Le Guin animated
My final animated short for my college illustrating the book wizard of the Earthsea by Le Guin
Even though it's my final project for the college, I must say that it's also the first time I animated something in my entire life, as my major is actually graphic design. There was a lot of work put into this project, from learning how to work in toon boom harmony to cooperating with my friend to help me finish it. It may not be perfect I am really happy how it turned out and even more happy that I finally started learning animation in practice!
Special thanks for my friend, who helped me with backgrounds, all the backgrounds featuring indoors of the huts and a castle, as a well as the outdoors of both castle and magical school was done by her - x.com/Veririditus

wonderful work, thank you for making and sharing it!! the artstyle is so expressive and bright, love the sharper edges and all the environments, really gives off the feel of a magical fairy tale
This is incredible! A Wizard of Earthsea is one of my favorite things OF ALL time, and you HAVE absolutely done it justice! The vibes of the Court of the Terrenon are PERFECT for what I imagined in my head all along. So spooky and lonesome! You nailed it, amazing work! Hope you had a great experience during your course!
