HI Wayne, glad to see these back in stock, just ordered the carbide die to add to my other MA dies.
Will the 58 work on 308 Lapula palma brass ?
Did the 1/8 clean the small primer pockets?
Interesting. I`ll look into this a bit more.
Not sure what type of ceramic that is. Is it harder than the steel die? If it leaves a residue on the brass, there is dust, just not visible and an unknown quantity. That stuff in the lungs is a bad thing. Primers still in the brass will contaminate the media with lead salts, which is a major source of lead exposure. I would investigate very carefully.
I think these will fit the bill for my move into 223 on the X-10. Looking for a sizing die that has a primer flick for the 2nd station and put a Mark 7 trimmer in station 3 to make some plinking 223 in 1 pass.
Been looking for a 223 resizer that flicks the primer but doesn't cost an absurd amount of money like the Lyman Pro. I think this will go good on the X-10 on station 2 and station 3 with a trimmer to do some 1 pass 223 loading.
Are you saying you don’t have to remove this lube?
Thanks for the video. Waiting for these to be back in stock. :)
Started using PEG75 years ago on your recommendation. It is the only lube I use now for sizing. Works splendidly. Better than regular lanolin in every aspect that I can tell. I still keep a can of Imperial, but only for neck turning.
What’s do yiu think of that press. I’m thinking of ordering one. But I see a lot of negative post about it . Thank you
Nice kit, looks a lot like the RCBS Primer Pocket Swager Combo-2 only 3 times the cost.
Ok, I need one!
I have been making my own case lube for 30 years of competitive highpower rifle competition using a ratio of 15 parts of 91% or 99% isopropyl alcohol and 1 part lanolin oil (makes a 16oz mister bottle). This worked flawlessly and its dirt cheap. This is not a new invention especially in the Highpower rifle world.
I currently have the Dillon Swage tool and only use it for Hornady 308 brass that is crimped. Have a Redding Turret, could set your Swager in an open slot. Very nice. Thanks r/
it might work but I just use Imperial case lube. I just wipe it off easily. How specifically is this better?
Pretty neat die. If I wasn't already set up for both operations, I would likely buy one. Now I will give you the fact that I don't get out a lot. But I have never heard of "Mighty Armory"(and by the way, I like the name). I don't know where you advertise your company. But Maybe you should rotate where you advertise. You wouldn't have to increase your advertising budget, Just change the places that you advertise like 4 times a year. That would quadruple your exposure with no increase in expenditure.
I have the MA Magnum Swage Kit and a Forster Co-Ax press. Can you post a video on using you Swage Kit on the Forster Press.
Oil based lube left in the primer pockets can kill a primer, and oil based lubes inside the case can mess with the powder charges. Any lube on the case when fired is not good on the breech of the gun, as it does not allow the cases to grip the chamber walls and they slam harder than designed on the breech. So it is always best to clean the case, inside and out, of the lube even if a wax base is used.
Thank you for this I think I will order. Any tips on keeping it from clogging up the spray nozzle or does it clog? There is another brand that leaves a dull finish on the case who cares but I have found when I fire without a second cleaning of cases trouble extracting feels a little sticky.
I'm dying to try these dies.
Wayne. What press and turret is this?
Creedmoor Sports T-7 Enhanced Press
Can you make a video on the undersized die, specifically when referring to Atlas Gunworks. I couldn’t find their video. Waiting on your die to be back in stock.
what press is he using and what turret is he using
Creedmoor Sports T-7 Enhanced Press
I would love to see you expand carbide to the other pistol cartridges, but also 223 and 300blk
👏🏻👏🏻🔥
👏🏻👏🏻🔥
Nice stuff!👍👍
Thanks 👍
So I just received your flair and expansion die. Do to after I seat the bullet . 9mm 115gn and range brass. I’m still getting a bulge. Will this tapper die remove that . Thank you .
I will be pick this up as well. I have your regular TNT full length but…I can’t wait for the seat/crimp in one die to be released for those of us with limited die stations I have the Dillon 650
Great video. Love the fact that you're measuring flare widths. In 29 years of reloading, I've only done that by eye, but it makes so much sense that you should be flaring to get a desired tension. When you were measuring that inside dimension, were you measuring at the bottom of the flared bell and into the case just a bit?
Thanks. Yes, measure at the bottom of the bell
Great video Wayne, thank you for all the good info.
You are very welcome
Another great video!, thank you Wayne!
Thanks for watching
Nice video good info
Glad you liked it!
Thank you for doing this!
You're very welcome!
I think a big help would be a carbide flared funnel for the Dylan press as one of the reasons why I used the lube sometimes was because it has such a hard return when pulling that thing out of the case after flare
We’ve been offering the replacement Dillon funnel for a few years, zero sticking, no powder spills.
Congrats carbide dies pretty great stuff now you have to do rifle carbide dies… Reloaders have been using 100% carbide rifle dies for sizing their brass .. Eric C. Has been using one for a while now. I believe you are the first to do it mass production?
So this will eliminate glock bulge or still need to roll size?
I would think the shell plate would keep you from going all the way
Yes, the die bore will eliminate a Glock bulge.
@@Trad6166The die will size down to the start of the solid case head. So .595 +- length
Why is lube needed with your dies? Carbide dies don't require lube for pistol cases. That means once ammo is loaded the rounds have to be tumbled or cleaned somehow to remove that lanolin...
I don't think lube is necessary for pistol caliber's.
Best dies ever!! Just ordered some parts for my dies! Going to get the 6arc shortly
GM Wayne!
Thanks Wayne! Another clear video, appreciate them.
Glad you enjoyed it
Awsome sir
Nice video, it says in the description the sizer sizes 100% the entire full length of the cases, could you expand how this is possiblevand how it reaches down through the shellplates grip holding them/the cases? I am very interested in your dies and might review them in the Swedish competition shooters forums thats how come Im asking. Your dies looks amazing and most of my competition collegues are also interested but seems nobody seen them irl yet so I want to get it right. Also a minor bi-question, your site shows electroplated dies such as red, blue, gold, is this an extra option? Due to the lack of Mighty Armory dies over here people mostly seem to go for the Redding deluxe dies or Lymans pro dies with dual micrometers (everyone has a hardon for micrometers it seems) 😅 However from what I see and hear you likely rival Redding/Lymans handgun dies, pherhaps even beat them. At the lack of proper reviews I decided to do it myself. Any replies how the full length feature works would be great. Thanks, /Silverbullit Sweden
The Carbide Dies size to just below the top of the head. No need to size the solid.. if you have blown out heads from major loads, you’ll have to roll size. Me, I would pitch them, will lead to case head separation. Safety first!
Good info , but does the size of the flash hole make any difference ? Flash hole uniformer can drill thru the hole .
Dang that price is crazy I won’t lie
Actually, I would expect the price to be a little higher depending on what it’s doing and what it’s gonna be used for..
Will be buying them soon!
