I love this game, just all the lore is so cool! I play in exploration mode, which means I get lost sometimes (like when the descriptions of locations aren't clear), but it's super fun

"Has not seen the sun in decades." That's a hell of a trick for a nomad.

The Hollow Knight really is a boss that hits hardest the first time you play it, you start thinking it'll be a final battle against a great monster, but as the fight goes on you realize whatever this thing is is supposed to be, it's not in control of itself. You're fighting the knight, but it's simultaneously fighting itself, desperately trying to end the infection and it's own suffering. Watching it stab itself over and over, being picked up by the infection and having its body thrown around like a ragdoll by whatever is controlling it makes it clear, this husk of what was supposed to be a great hero is no less of a victim than any other bug in the game.

Absolutely loving your playthrough Ruth! Brings back so many memories from before I knew the game inside and out 😅 Once you're at a point where you don't mind spoilers and want to know about the lore I highly recommend watching the video "The (Mostly) Complete Lore of Hollow Knight" by mossbag. He very fun and super good at explaining the surprisingly deep lore of this masterpiece of a game 😁

A little fun fact. The boy playing Wim, Ravi Conyers, played the voice of Antonio Madrigal from Encanto. And they made him look like that character for this series. Also it's good chance that their homeworld is in the Core Systems sector which would be the reason for the suburban look. Plus all of the 80's kid movies always took place in the suburbs! This show definitely has that vibe.

This'll be fun ^^ And you're right! Star Wars is one of those franchises where there's truly something for everyone...And if someone doesn't like a specific aspect, no worries, let others enjoy the thing and wait to see if you'll like the next thing ^^
