I would add- remove the camera case from your shots- which I’m sure you do
Looks better on the inside than the front. What's the material on the outside? Looks like a trailer-type material. What's the asking price?
No back windows? At all?
Wow, your videos are awesome. But, although your video is good, I am a bit disappointed with the number of views. Your video optimization and thumbnails are not perfect.
Great video! Thank you Craig. Any advise on connecting to the outside?
Awesome video my friend , always enjoy your wonderful videos , thank you for sharing and thumps up , have an amazing day ❤❤❤

Biutiful place 🎉🎉🎉
Probably 2million dollars😮😮
cool house 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Nice video! 👍
Excellent! But your UA-cam video SEO score is very low. So views are not increasing. I'm Rafiq. I am a digital marketing expert & UA-cam SEO specialist. I am 100% sure your UA-cam video views, likes & subscriptions will increase if you can increase your video SEO score. Don't worry. If you want I will help you with organic promotion of your video. If you want we will have a Zoom meeting to discuss your UA-cam channel in more detail. I am waiting for your response.

what do I do if there is no power> I need to scan a fire damaged house
You can actually put a light weight light right on top! I have a light from auto zone that I use double sided tape to mount on top. You could also use Velcro - I just wouldn’t use one with magnets
its wasted time
Whats the process for non immgrants to buy a property please?
I wonder, can you do a scan with doors closed and one with doors open? The first one with the purpose of snapshots for listings...
Yes, absolutely!
@@illini360media thx for the quick reply. Love your channel!
Thank you for the vid. I always used to put the front of the mirror in the other direction, thinking "This way is the front of the mirror". I'll reverse it from now.
Hello, Your beautiful videos should reach more people. You must have put a lot of effort into making the videos. You are giving so many videos but the views are not getting. Due to not seo properly, your channel videos are not reaching the right audience organically. You need to optimize your channel and do video SEO to reach your target audience. If you do the SEO of your videos properly then the views of your videos will increase. Videos will rank organically. Your channel will also grow and subscribers will increase.
Thank you for letting me know! I am not too familiar with UA-cam or SEO but I will look into that in hopes to expand my channel!
Hello, I'm from Brazil and this technology entered the country recently and I'm consuming all types of content about it. I'm looking to start with the INSTA360 X3 or X2. Would you have any tips for me who is just starting out? Sorry if the English is wrong, I used google translate lol
The Insta360 cameras work great! I would also look at the Ricoh Theta 360 cameras as well!
Can you send me the template for this subpage from the link? Where can you download such templates? Very nice and simple.
This is from the system HDphotohub
Next Goal: 1 million subscribers
ha if only!
Beautiful Place. Wonderful actually.
How decent does your iPad have to be? Do you need loads of data?
You can actually just use your phone! I use my iPhone 14 Max for 95% of jobs! I now only use my iPad for large commercial jobs
What if you have a small WC under the stair? I assume you can’t capture it if you include the whole staircase in the lower plan?
You can include any closets!
Can you start moving your camera after it finishes its last turn but whilst it’s still transferring? I imagine it would save a lot of time.
Yes, you can move the camera when it stops spinning and the app displays "Okay to Move camera" in a real life situation, the scanner scans for 20 seconds and I immediately move it and typically the camera is in its new spot before its done processing, so super quick
well this will bring a new chnage in the property bussiness
Such a great demonstration. Thank you. Can you walk in VR with Occulus and make a recording if you can. Just wish to visualize the quality and feel in VR.
Great Video but you did make me go all "queezy" when you had that camera at the top of the steps and you turned towards the filming camera to talk and you were arm gesticulating... So Q: I use a z1 on a microphone stand ( round heavy bottom weighted ) as preference to a tripod. But - I see that if I were to get a Pro2 that stand would not take the weight of the Pro2. So - if I were to get a Pro2 for higher quality scans - would you happen to know if it is possible to then switch out, when needed, to the Z1 such as when on stairs or to make easier to hide from bathroom mirrors etc and then switch back to the pro2 for the rest of the house???
ha! I now have 2 Matterport pro2 scanners, one has been dropped 2-3 times by techs on my team. So far, they are still working great! There are services to "re-calibrate" and fix scanners if they break when they fall (trust me, it happens!) To answer, YES you can use 2 cameras to scan 1 property however its not needed as much. However with this way, you can start and switch to any camera during the scan but only one can be connected at a time. As an example, If I wanted to scan a theatre with a tall ceiling, I would scan the space with my matterport, then put my theta on a tall tripod and do high scans to capture more of the ceilings. After 3 years of doing this, I only done that once. In houses, its easy to "Blur" the matterport from mirrors and tripods that support matterport cameras are very sturdy to use on stairs! I use Manfrotto tripods: This exact one: Manfrotto 290 Xtra
Thank you
Are you still wearing the mask? 😜😜😜
No, thats been over for over a year in my area
When everybody is starting making how-to videos, the hype is already over and the established Matterporters have already grabbed the market in their hands. So there is no place or need for new entries. Why should you teach someone who can steal your business with your knowledge he got for free on UA-cam? It’s the same like last decade every established photographer on UA-cam was going to teach you how to make photos in a time when the photography business was already declining. Now houses are sold without any effort. Real estate agents are making their crappy photos by themselves with a smartphone. There is no need for shiny highly photoshopped flambient photographs. Let alone a virtual tour. Nobody wants this. Unfortunately….
There is still a lot of space in the industry! When this video was created, I was new and only provided matterport services (i provided matterport tour, pictures from matterport, and matterport generated floor plan) about 6-months after this video, I started to offer HDR photography and my business doubled within 2-3 months. I still use my matterport camera on every single jobs for floor plans and some matterport virtual tours. In regards to "someone stealing my business" ... every area has a 'real estate market'. From small midwest towns to metro areas, there are new and established real estate photographers. Some operate as freelance photographers under their name while others operate under a brand. I mentioned that because if you google "real estate photographers" in a certain town, just know there are a bunch more out there in that town that you don't see. So there is no way my free education will make a dent in the industry. UA-cam is a "free education platform" just like Instagram and TikTok - if you use it that way. I started my business solely by watching different channels, searching hashtags, etc. I now allow aspiring photographers to "shadow" me if they are looking to start their own business. So far, it's been half & half. Half the aspiring photographers ended up working for me while the other half used the knowledge and started a brand in a different city. Also, in my area, houses sell QUICK! Especially right now in the summer. Sometimes I show up to a house with a "SOLD" sign in the yard or a new "Pending" sign the next day after receiving my order. Luckily for me, agents in my area still want photos or at minimum a floor plan even if its sold. Lastly, I dont sell agents listing photos. I sell them branding. Sure, agents can post listings with iPhone pictures that have horrible angles and shows the toilet seat up. However, agents rather have magazine-quality marking images for social media and thats where I CRUSH IT! If you're looking to start a media company, or already started and struggling to find work, change up your sales strategy.
@@illini360media Thank you for your reply. In my area nobody needs neither good photos nor virtual tours. Maybe it’s selling that way without effort 🤷🏼♂️ Maybe I have to look deeper. There is no free lunch 😜
Is this blur option available in free plan?
Great question, I'm not sure if the blur option works for free plans
Thank you for taking the time to teach this valuable lesson. I am grateful for your time. I just bought Matterport Pro 2, can you please let me know where to buy the iPad carrier you have around your neck? is IPAD pro 11 inch or 12.9 inch the best for shooting Matterport? thank you so much for all you do.
Here is the link to some of the products I use: www.illini360.com/toolbox/ The case and strap for ipad is towards the middle of the page! I use a 11 inch iPad Pro. This is perfect for commercial / bigger jobs requiring a lot of scan points. For standard houses, I now use my iPhone 13 pro max. My iPhone works great with the matterport app and hasnt given me any issues. I now prefer to use my iPhone over my iPad!
As a new matter port owner not really knowing how and where to start this was extremely informative. It took a lot of the unknown out and I feel ready for my first scan. Thanks so much!
So if the customer doesn't want a tour, can you just take a 360 image in every room and then take screenshots from those?
Yes, basically. I would use 3D scans instead of 360. If the customer doesn’t want a tour, simply scan the space regularly and when the tour processes in your account, use the built in camera tool to screenshot images directly from the tour. The images will save under the download tab for that model. From there, you click “download max resolution” and you will receive an email with a file to your images!
Another reason to avoid extending the pedestal is that it will make the top of your tripod less stable and more prone to wobbling (especially since the camera moves), which could blur your shots.
This is outstanding !! You're right
Thank you very much, this is a great tutorial!
This is the video Matterport should have made themselves! Thank you for walking us through step by step and giving reasons why, this was immensely more helpful than anything Matterport put out.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks you helped me out today
Glad I could help
Thank you for watching!
Thank you for sharing your valuable advice! I will be using to help scan a large facility, but there were lots of tidbits of wisdom.
You are so welcome!
I'm only half way through the video right now, still watching it, but I didn't want to forget the question. I'm very forgetful. How does this camera handle veritcality? Can it see the ceilings or floor? If so, does it fix the perspective for you or do you have to change elevation and angles of the shots too? I'm wondering if I can take these matterport photos and bring them into Unreal5 as 3d assets.
Wowow tnx men u awsome
Enjoy
Did my first try in my home. Works really fast and precise. I am a Bim manager and the measurements are really close to when I measure with my leica laser
Nice, thanks for letting me know
Really nice. Just waiting for my matterport to arrive. I work for an architect as a BIM manager and think this will help me out a lot. Can't wait start working with it.
Hi, I had an issue scanning a spiral stairs. It didn’t align properly. How could we improve that?
Spiral staircases are rough! When I do them, my tripod is tall & narrow and I scan each and every step
Such a great information, when ever you can teach us how to shot outside the 360 and how to put them on the tour
Do you think tourbuzz is still the best platform for you?
I switched to HDphotohub. More user friendly and modern looking
@@illini360media would you choose matterport again? Do you think this is still the industry standard despite all the subscription terms changes?
Why do you point the camera like you do? I always just make sure it isn’t pointed towards me so I can hit the button as I am walking away.
just a weird habit! For some reason i typically spin it one way or another. Plus, if I have to hide from the camera, turning it the opposite way of me allows time to walk back as its spinning
