DirectConnectMKE is an innovative social media platform conceived by Alderwoman Milele A Coggs in 2017 as a means by empowering low income Job Seekers with direct access to opportunities for employment, training, internships, and more! The initial launch in July 2018 consisted of 30 Networks comprised of local Employment Service Agencies and facilitated relationships of trust between mentors and individual Job Seekers.
On November 12th, DCMKE officially launched its 2nd Phase of development. We are excited to announce that we now have 45 Networks and over 100 Career Specialists who can provide guidance, direction, and critical upskilling for the unemployed, the underemployed, and the underserved in our community. We look forward to the challenges and growth 2021 will bring!
