The OST from this game is mythical. Most likely the best I've ever heard by far. FFVI was so incredible when it came out, people who didn't live it back can't even get close to grasping the revolution that game was

what makes this track stand out from among the others is that its based on javanese court gamelan music from indonesia. theres a similar influence in the soundtrack to the Akira anime movie, and an authentic example of this is in the movie "once upon a time in new york," including the shadow puppet dramas. im not a musician, but there is a use of time in this musical tradition that is very interesting. afaik there is no other musical style in the world that sounds like this, its unique. well worth checking out

I love this music so much, so nostalgic but it looks like something new at the same time

I remember we took our terrbile game as a kid: Bart Simpsons Nightmare, costed us $80 and we we're so disappointed.Few weeks later Mom knew the bookstore sold and traded older games, we got this! Oddly Bart Simpsons nightmare box and all kept coming back to that store, others didn't like it either.

this song sounds like a mix of "Jurassic Park Theme", "James Bond Theme", and "X Files Theme", which altogether would combine to be a secret "Final Fantasy" of sorts, for the, not "rich" per se, but those granted access to the coercive funny money supply.

The real reason they won't make a remake of this game is, they wouldn't be able to get the "magic touch" as well as in the original. Too much frills and adjustments for what? :) Oh well... ^^

I actually waited out the clock on my first playthrough cause I wanted to see what happened.. was very relieved to see the game *wanted* you to cut it close waiting for Shadow

This tune is so viscerally unsettling to me. Especially with the sounds that come in at 0:25. It feels like a musical representation of the feeling of fear you get when you have sleep paralysis.
