Biko the lovebird runs on hamster wheel
Hello everyone! It's been a long time since I have uploaded anything but lately Biko has been running his wheel quite frequently and he does it at his leisure while keeping him healthy. He didn't like it very much 1st first but after tempting him with sunflower seeds he probably decided it's not a bad idea! Do let me know what you guys think! And oh! Happy Dragon Boat festival to those who celebrate it!

Hello please get a bigger cage, at least 25 inches long for one bird, take out the mirrors and nest box out of there and put at least five or more natural toys in there, nest boxes should only be put when a bird is in breeding stage. Since you only have one bird, I don’t think your bird has any reason to breed, so a nest box in not really necessary

what treats are best for training?
i use sunflower seeds, but you can use other treats, some birds like my cockatiel enjoys crispy food and pumkin seeds

Thanks Lissa! i Appreciate your kind words! Lovebirds are pretty much the same, just difference in colour. But if you have to know, his colour is known as a whiteface-sea green and i use sunflower seeds as a reward, its not part of his main diet. Hope that helps! good luck!
