One of Britain's finest actors and a true gent in every respect. I loved him in Dad's Army and no one could've played Captain Mainwaring better than this man. His voice is also apart of my life as well, especially when I watch the original Mr Men series. We can all probably learn a thing or two from him. Thanks Arthur for so much pleasure ❤ 😊

Breaking News On The Hotel Balcony Has Been Killed RIP

I saw him twice at the Key Theatre Peterborough . To say he was funny was an understatement. I went to two shows (a year apart) with my late mum, they started at 7.30 pm and finished at 1.30 am!. On both occasions my chest hurt so much with laughter. I'm so glad I had the chance to see him. He did a skit where he sang in Italian opera, then as usual, the wheels fell off after a few minutes, lol. That said , when he sang properly for the first few minutes, he had an amazing singing voice. Lots of fun , no swearing , brilliant!!.

Ken Dodd turned up to a Workingmen's Club in Newcastle to play a Charity show. I was there with my girlfriend whose dance group was also taking part. I had only seen Ken on the TV with the Diddymen so I had no idea about what was to happen. The place was absolutely roaring with laughter for literally hours. I was in tears with an aching stomach, the pain caused by non stop laughter was incredible. I literally could not stop laughing although I couldn't physically take it anymore. The man was an absolute genius of an entertainer. He put his heart and soul into that concert at a simple Workingmen's Club, without even getting paid. I still haven't gotten over it.

I've heard Politicians get hauled across the coals for simple slips of the tongue or using the wrong words - ie "an INVASION of immigrants" - How can Ms Kuenssberg's position be tenable now she has sent all of her interview questions to Boris Johnson resulting in the interview being cancelled? How can she question a Politician for making ANY mistake at all when the simple answer can be - 'Well we all make mistakes, don't we Ms Professional Interviewer Laura Kuenssberg??" She should resign with immediate effect.
