If you don't, you will kill the Interceptor name as well as harming Royal Enfield's reputation. THESE BIKES ARE AN ABOMINATION! DON'T take them to EICMA or the British Motorcycle Show, ...or you will be either laughed out of the exhibition hall, or assaulted by fans of the brand! ....I'm SERIOUS!! The "Classic 650" that has been leaked MIGHT save you skins, but only if the prices are a LOT lower than these HORRIFIC examples! As I have said from 6mths into the amazing launch of the 650 platform, the 47bhp 650 NEEDS an UNFETTERED COUSIN, a bored out 750cc, (65-70bhp) hotter cam, sibling, and now the Classic (and closely followed by a "Super Bullet" version?) would free the next Interceptor II (?) to be that model! ....but with those classic late 60's lines and styling! Wire wheels with alloy rims and stainless spokes AGAIN! Pea-Shooter exhausts instead of those erroneous upswept things that EVERYONE WANTED TO REMOVE! PLAIN colours with the 3D badge was PERFECT! Black, red blue green and PAINT THE SIDE COVERS, you cheap sods! NO EXTORTIONATE SURCHARGE for colours, unless you want a metalflake lacquer at £50 extra, or that gloriously luxurious "Mr Clean"/"Glitter & Dust" for £150! BUY MK DESIGNS in India, as they will expand your ability to produce full touring and race fairings as well as other quality parts! AGAIN, ....SACK YOUR DESIGNERS! They have shown a complete disconnect with what customers expect and are changing stuff purely for the sake of change! (that's got to add costs, eh?) They have not got a clue how to use those crayons! PS - YES, I would direct that team, without charge, for 3 months only receiving ONE bike to MY spec! If you don't like what I have produced, fire me! PPS - You REALLY NEED to bring a FULL production line to the UK! When access to the Red Sea becomes impossible or China starts "playing games" with global shipping, you will need a production facility that can access Europe AND the US! Royal Enfield has a legacy to fulfil in the UK apart from just Research and Development! I am a lifelong biker and petrol-head! I have many ideas.
