The last time I went to AD I saw 4 sales rep just standing and chating when I enter and look arround sudenly they became very busy the other guy pretend talking on a phone, the other one went to the stock room and the other guy busy with his computer. From my point of view as a Baby Boomer, I like to celebrate a life event with a luxury watch, and until now, Rolex was my first choice. The expectation is that a first time buyer at a particular AD expects you/me to buy a minimum of $250,000 before the AD considers selling a Rolex. I personally only like to deal with stores that want my business, so I elect not to play the AD Pandemic Games. The trusted grey market dealers have replaced the AD's, and the grey market treats me with respect and earns my business. One day the pendulum may swing back so that the AD's want new customers, the real question is when.
