The wedding of Elaha, a 22-year-old Kurdish-German woman, is just weeks away. Her future husband believes she is still a virgin. Convinced she must restore her supposed innocence or she will bring great shame to her family, Elaha investigates the possibility of hymen reconstruction.

@@606distribution Basically it is the electronic EDM that Giorgio Moroder started under the 2 main and primary genres of this scene, HI-NRG and Synthpop, which are replicated in France by Space, Cerrone, Cuitad & Hayat and others... Until now the French cannot digest that Daft Punk and Brian Eno attributed the sound of the future to Moroder. My name is Giovanni Giorgio but everybody calls me...the father, founder and pioneer of EDM and the Modern Electronic / The Sound Of The Future.

It's on Blu-Ray in the USA, but we're releasing it digitally and on physical media here in the UK in a couple of months time.

I've been a fan of French, 70s electronica like Heldon/Richard Pinhas, Didier Bocquet, Pulsar, Cyrille Verdeaux/Clearlight, Space, Bernard Szajner, Hot Butter, Universal Energy, Space Art etc. (no need to mention J-M Jarre or J-J Perrey...and yet I did) for 30-40 years...all men! The issues of systemic patriarchy are a key part of the film - it's a contradiction the film adresses as part of the story. Point very much taken, though, Louise!
