    S tier is Jayco, AG2R, and Astana... I honestly don't like the new EF jersey with the diamonds, and I also prefer the old lime green Bora jersey. Other than that, I'd agree with the rankings. I'd probably swap Alpecin and FDJ tho

      @ In a sea of AI shite it’s gonna be hard to stand out as authentic otherwise. I nearly clicked off when I heard the voice. Ai voices are still in that uncanny valley territory where they feel kinda dispassionate about whatever it's saying. Gave you a subscription in case you make any more of these kinds of succinct science-based performance videos. I’d be down for one proven effective supplementation.

    Good video rounding up all the information available on UA-cam about Heat training. I've Tried heat training, doing 10 sessions over 2 weeks, and raised my ftp from 250 to 262w (did a test before and after the two weeks). And I felt very good on the bike afterwards. I made a video about this journey, but it's in portuguese :(

    • @PrimeCyclingCo
      @PrimeCyclingCo 17 днів тому

      Good question! A bit difficult to answer, as I don't know your training background and at what level you cycle. I personally do not recommend beginners to practice heat training, as you should focus on developing the aerobic and anaerobic systems with "regular" training. But if you're at a high level and short on time, it can definitely be worth a try. If you are motivated for it, of course. Did that answer your question :)

    • @Cyclingeditzzz1
      @Cyclingeditzzz1 17 днів тому

      @ thanks! Yeah I’m at a decent level I’d say. In the summer I could cycle 250km with 2500 elevation gain with an average speed of 29kmh so my endurance is good. But since it’s winter I haven’t been on my bike for a few months, and I have a bike trainer indoor, but I do t have much time cuz of school

    • @edsz25_7
      @edsz25_7 17 днів тому

      In this case, I would only pursue heat training if heat is a big factor in your target events. You need a fairly large amount of time in the heat to cause the desired adaptations, but you really should be devoting your time to structured, quality training if your time is limited. You could consider doing a block of heat-focused training closer to your event.

    Apart from the fact that everything Jim Ratcliffe touches turns to s**t, Pidders needs to put that behind him, pull his finger out, and get back to what he does best - cyclo cross (his fans really miss him), XC mountain biking, and single day road racing. He’ll never win the Tour, so he should use it when it suits him. Choose your ground and know your limitations; exploit your strengths.

      While that was the stated goal, they have always been more about the result than the nationality. They had no qualms about helping Kwiatkowski, Bernal, Rodríguez, Ganna, Porte, Gerrans, Urán or Boasson Hagen when they were their best option to win a race. It was even more about the money as it is now. In the early 2010s Sky was the flagship bearer sports team for a company, rather than just one of many the owner doesn't care about.
