This is a vlog documenting the Outdoor adventures of Archie Gilmer with wife and friends. I am simply trying to have fun while hiking, fishing, hunting, camping and various other outdoor activities!. I also learn a lot on UA-cam and thought that I would share my experiences with others as well. God bless and enjoy the channel!

Hey cool build, our kayaks are the same colors. How is the transducer hole holding up?
Everything is working well on the Kayak. However, I have recently moved and due to the increase in my joint pain, I am making a transition to using a 14’ canoe!

They are nice and simple kayaks! However, these days my wife and I are spending more time in our canoe!

Where do you keep the fish
I usually only keep fish that I will be eating. When that happens, I keep them on a line or “stringer” and tie the line to the side of the kayak. It makes for a good live well.

I left home without my paddle i live 10 miles from my fishing spot though after watching your vid I said to myself that would never happen to me ive been out kayak fishing 100's of times and never left my paddle home.. except for today so I rush home my wife was up she said our dog got out i guess i didnt shut the side gate all the way so I spend all morning looking for the dog long story short didnt get to go fishing..

69QuIzAcK69 I haven’t sealed any holes. I tried not to drill any holes under the water line. I haven’t had any leaking.

Bartholomew Alexis no fish lately. I am in the middle of moving and have no time to fish. Maybe this fall I can get out.

Your my kind of guy! I use a 8 foot "sit in" Kayak and love it! and also think fishing with light tackle is more fun. Good luck and keep at it!

Good video. I have a Wilderness Pungo 140 Sit Inside I would like to set up for fishing and you have given me a few ideas. Do you have ideas on how to carry a cooler??
Well since mine is only a 10' Kayak, I would either have to replace the crate with a small cooler or I have been looking at the Yeti soft coolers. Maybe that will work.
