do you do anything to not make it fray? or is the fabric just like that?
Is there a plus size version or a tutorial on how to make the pattern into a plus sized version?
@@sianaem5270 Take the largest size, the top part of the skirt should equal your waist measurement doubled, divided by 4 (since the pattern represents a quarter of the skirt). If this isn't enough, add the required number of centimeters to this number, divide it by 4, and add the resulting number to the pattern by simply extending it along the side seams.
@@sianaem5270 Or you can simply take the largest size. Since the waist measurement in the pattern is doubled, it will definitely fit you. There will just be slightly fewer gathers at the top.

Could this be made from a silky fabric?
@@deboraleyba1921 The pattern is made for stretchy fabrics, but since silk doesn't stretch, you might want to try a pattern that's one or two sizes larger

I absolutely LOVE the way you teach. Voice tone, cadency, straight forward instructions. Subscribed :D Also, I was thinking the ruffles would be acieved by frillying a straight fabric in fancy ways, but it actully turne out to be a simples spiral!
