Projecr X reminds me so much of Carrier Air Wing i used to play on an arcade machine in our billard café back when i was a teen. Alwasy waited for the drops to change to green color to collect them, best weapon upgrade 🙂

I see version of Project X is really outdated :( dunno why it's not updated automatically by STEAM as its almost month old!! Latest is totally different game. - new shield dmg system, - critical shoots - new build shoots for each weapon - homing missiles - new random power ups - better graphic - weapon change (u can keep 2 weapons) List of change is huge.... Maybe try latest Build? also I see your ship speed is abnormal due to more that 60Hz monitor. Change in game options VSYNC fix. Ist temp solution as will be fixed permanently later. But in overall u played well :) thanks for showing it!

Did you stream this? Great attempt at the new Project X. The bit you got to stumped me for ages. Missiles deplete the shields on it, then any other weapons destroy. Still takes a huge amount of hits though I don't think he's gonna reach his kickstarter goal which is a real shame as it would be an awesome game.

Nice version. The transitions between backgrounds seem rather surreal. Not played Outrun, I just know that the Amiga port was terrible.

I remember playing Outrun on Arcade machines like the one in our billard café. Gosh - how much money did i spend on it 😄

I loved this game,would love to be able to find a way to download and play it,there was also another game on play james called beehive medlam, used to play both constantly, it would be great to be able to play some of these old games.

This is almost as weird an experience as Voxel Doom (which also has non-flat walls... extremely trippy).

Any fix like this for Xenis Mousehook? I tried this but doesn't work.

Downloaded the latest version of Xenia and the Patches you gave, followed all your instructions and its still not working, any suggestions ?

Which emulator is this? Not tried anything but Mame with the wheel before. I have had the same problem with options scrolling, it was the brake and accelerator pedal. Gave up messing with options as it drove me quite mad myself!

Must've missed this stream of yours, but I loved RR in the arcades and outrun is great, but Outrun C2C on the PS2 is brilliant.

The pixelling in this game is simply phenomenal. I love the art style too. Chaos Engine goes FPS.

That's my mod :) It looks like you are using an older engine version for it, one of the pure assembler builds. Theres a mixed C+assembly version that is more up to date and adds support for additional features rhe mod uses, e.g. inventory limits, achievements etc.

This is amazing, thank you! Now if we can just get a fix for the light flares not occluding behind surfaces, that'd be Perfect.

Imagine this game coming out in the Amiga 30 years ago. I've been following this project for a while now an it's amazing how good it looks and how smooth it runs. It almost feels too fast on this setup.😅 If I recall right, the number in the top left corner is some kind of performance indicator where lower values are better. It's definitely not fps.

Nice showcase, didn't know about most of these, and they're undoubtedly classics. Played Project Osiris (the Alien Breed 3D remake) when it was published about 4 years ago, though. Cheers for the video
