So sorry to hear that that happened to you with your cat we've been giving it to him for years for feline herpes and he's had no ill effects only positive ones he is 14 years old. Release your guilt perhaps what happened to your cat might have happened without giving him l lysine. I am sure you were doing the best you could for your beloved pet.

You will have to do research on that subject. I only know that I have done research on cat herpes. And that it helps my 15-year-old cat.

We mix 1/8 teaspoon in with his wet food.

No I am not a big pharmaceutical company I am just a pet owner that is trying to do the best for my cat. Look at my other videos and you will see that they have nothing to do with pharmaceuticals. We thought that our cat just had a hairball at first but noticed there was no hairball that's when we took him to the vet to get him checked out. Hopefully your family's cat will improve .

Hope medication helps your cat feel better we give ours prednisone 5 mg every other day (we gave it to him for every day for years)and l- lysine 1/8 tsp everyday has he also has cat herpes which makes him sneeze and have runny nose and eyes. The l-lysine also seem to help with his asthma. He used to have asthma attacks three times a day when just on the asthma medication. Some days he has none now but other days more.

@@zannybc yes same :( I give him a pill everyday, he had a bad asthma attack and so we have to give him two pills a day atm that's what the vets say to yeah.

I was scared thinking my cat had bad asthma and then finally took them to the vet. It turned out it wasn't asthma and was given Anti-biotics and it cured it completely. They prescribed my cat "Azithromycin for Oral Suspension USP" 200 mg per 5ml. Hope this helps some of yall.

We give him prednisone dosage 5 mg we used to give it to him everyday but now we're giving it to him about every other day. We also give him eighth of a teaspoon of L lysine as he has cat herpes also which makes him sneeze but since giving the l-lysine it has also improved his asthma and his overall health. He used to have asthma attacks about three times a day but now he rarely has them. We grind up the prednisone which is a tiny little pill in a pistol and mortar and mix it in with his food which we also do with the l-lysine but that comes powder form.

My cat died from this it was devastating. It happened when I took him on a walk in his stroller. The asthma attack he dried from he never made a noise 😥💔
