Pablo Villegas Hi Pablo, Sorry for a late response. I’m sure you mean a key change? I don’t have the music in front of me but, I think that’s what your taking about. From what I remember the entire show like every songs has multiple key changes.

Darren Lucas I know. I MD’ed this show a few years ago. Now I’m playing the guitar part in a few songs and found out your video. Huge help. Love your voicings. That’s why I look into the music and found out that key change. The music goes from Eb to E and you go from Eb to D. I was playing along and suddenly I got lost.

Good Question. I switch around 2:32 mark to playing the thirds. I forget if the Music Supervisor (David Holcenberg who I believe still works with ABBA ) wanted it played like that or if I thought it sounded better. I think with that distortion type and playing the third was unnecessary. ?? try it both ways I guess to whatever sounds right to you.

Book 2 is 12-string acoustic, 6-string acoustic, and good Strat sounds. effects: distortion, lite crunch, clean. Prob have some kind of boost pedal for Waterloo at the end

Hi Peter! I think I had a Wampler ego compressor pedal on the electric. I think a fender amp, whatever the tour provided.

Very Simple. lite compression on electric. Acoustic was direct and banjo was mic'd

Sergio Fraga Hello Sergio, all music is provided. Most of the needed sounds are indicated in the music as in Chorus or Distortion. My method for learning a show is number of songs in a show and time that you have. I usually learn three songs at a time and write down any troublesome spots. Keep playing the song with a metronome till no mistakes. Eventually run everything as you would for a show. Play it twice a day. I never go into a new show being unprepared or just looking at the music for the first time. If any one song is challenging then slow it down and keep practicing till it clicks for you.

Hi Damon, the guitars you're using should work fine. Also, a nylon for three songs. The main pedals you should use are a crunch/ OD some kind of tape delay or digital delay and chorus. And wah pedal! And possibly a boost. Im touring Asia with a similar production currently and for space and programming I'm using a pod Live. But actually gong through VHT valvulator pre pedal board.. hope this helps. Feel free to shoot me any other questions..

Thanks so much! I have a Pod Hd500x I'm using for effects. Running it through a Fender Mustang GT-100 bypassing the preamp on the amp (unless they let me run the Pod direct to the mix).
