Asgore is a spamming character, but that’s why he’s such a good character for grinding. I’m thinking about using him to get a 99 kill streak, but at the same time, it’d be highly unfair due to his defense and all that stuff.

Being a passive player is actually alright since passive style means you don't jump to people like an idiot and try to think of an stratrgy to win but this person called "Nooberto" wasn't playing passive, he was sleeping on the computer. 💀

Late but: That first guy is just asking to get comboed all day. He needs to be glad your not a Sans main or a Frisk Main, or even a Chara Main, as either of those characters are going to kick his ass. Sans because his literally insane damage potential and a zoner with the highest defence, Frisk because of their insane combos and and opportunities for strike, especially phase 1, and Chara because of their Traits and Hate 1 and 2 are just overkill. Which I will not even mention Frisk and Chara's insane running speed, since they are one of the fastest characters in UTPR. Lets also not forget other characters like Jevil, who is literally the king of stunner. His move sets is basically him having all the stun opportunities, as well his phase 2 insane damage potential, not as great as the ones mention above, but still higher than anyone else.

hi, I recently started playing this game, which character would you recommend me to start with?

I rather not to use 3 in phase 2 if the enemie is far or not stun because they can just block, run, and LMB so it's better you stun the enemie first then use the move 5 after you use it use move 2 after you use move 2 use move 3 and use LMB + 6 edit: ty doing the combo
