I just saw this on IG, so I had to come to the university to look it up. UA-cam University 😂

I completed my transit as follows on a Thursday morning: my first flight arrived at terminal 5 around 10:10 am morning and next flight was at 12 noon. 1) I got the bus around 10:27 am and it took 13 minutes approx to reach t2 so it was 10:40. 2 ) afterwards its was a walk of 20 minutes to reach security at T2 ( bit frustrating but it could be completed in 15 minutes if you walk a bit quicker and use belts and walk on them as well) Time was 11:00 approx. 3) there were lines at security so it took 10 minutes. Time 11:10 approx. 4) Short walk of 5 minutes to departure gates. So I was at the gates around 11:15am

Such a pleasant experience, thanks for sharing! Never flown AF, even Economy is impressive putting legroom aside.... need to find an opportunity !!

Really good and comprehensive trip report. It would have been good to see the Aspire Lounge rather than the Privium lounge as Icelandair use the Aspire Lounge at Schipol. The onboard service is good but I don't like having a seatmate in close proximity and the lack of privacy that the seat provides.

Thanks for the video! I love widebodies on short/middle haul routes :) This winter season Finnair use A330/A350 on HEL-LHR and HEL-LPA. They serve a warm meal on all of their Euro routes that have a Business class, ARN excluded. You can pre order your meal, they have several choices online. I wish they would inform this option more clearly.

These ATR-72 seats look extremly thin😆. I quite like the Lounge at RIX. I travel through Riga about 2-3 times per year and always look foreward to the lounge. Nice video:)

An Intra-European flight on an A330-900! Nice catch:))

Wow, what a flight experience. And Krug in the lounge, not bad at all! La Premiere is still on my bucket list.

Amazing video, thank you. But just one stupid question. There are direct flights from Johannesburg to Dubai with Emirates. And they offer a first class service as well. The flight time is less than nine hours. Why would you fly to Europe first and then after a seven hour lay over to Dubai? Just to check out La Premiere?
