The "Celtic vibe" is that droning note by Kevin and Kirstie in the first verse, meant to imitate the bagpipes that are often used for those solemn events you mentioned. The only reactor I've heard who identified the symbolic sound on his first go was of Scottish heritage. Most people don't pick up on it initially, but once you've heard it, it's impossible to un-hear it. Great reaction, as always!

This really hit me hard today. I just lost my mom. She was diagnosed with advanced alzheimer's about 2 years ago, but she has been failing for at least 3 years. To make it worse, she never knew that dad had passed away suddenly almost 2 years ago. His death anniversary is coming up next week, along with his birthday. I would love to have this version played at her funeral, but my sister hates ptx.

At one point, some interviewer asked Kirstin and Mitch which of them could sing higher. They looked at each other and answered as one: "Kevin." If you've listened to their cover of The Prayer, you can hear Kevin's top note soaring above everyone else at the very end.

Let's see... you reacted to their cover of "Imagine" a year ago, and Kevin sang a whole verse at the end of that song. So why are you now all of a sudden so FAKE SURPRISED?? He sings quite a lot, though it is usually melded into background harmonies (when he's not beatboxing). He beatboxes, he cello boxes and he SINGS. It's what makes him a valued member of the group.

All pitch corrected. Sadly. Because if the record labels would let them, they could nail the song without any post production “correction”and it would be way way way way better. Electronically manipulating human voices so they hit each note perfectly is nonsense. Might as well just have computers sing our songs for us from now on then. Time for musicians and vocal artists to start standing up for themselves and stop allowing know nothing dead inside post production nerds and record label execs to “correct” their voices without any understanding of the art involved. Are they not insulted by this? Do singers and vocal artists have no integrity anymore? No passion for their own voices, their own art? Their own vocal instrument? The art is in the expression and the nuances of each individual voice, not in some idiot sitting at a computer dragging every voice to perfect pitch.

Whenever I hear this piece... I always remember the delta variant of COVID-19. The variant that took away my mother in law from us and nearly devastated our whole financial standing 😢 *Pageblug was released by Alip less than a month around that time.

These guys are definitely talented I just don't like covers of this song. Disturbs cover is just absolutely annoying to me. I can't stand Disturbs vocals. No one does this song better than Simon and Garfunkel.
