I absolutely LOVE how you mentioned how collaborative writing is (in the room and in prod.) Screenwriting is such an emotional process for most (queue the sword fight to protect a first draft) and it looks like it's a solitary job, but writers collaborate subtly all the time asking friends and family for advice or taking pieces of story from everyday life. It is SO MUCH easier to write with the insight of multiple people from all sides--feature film AND TV. So happy for your success!

Hi Mia, I loved this video so helpful. I sent in a one-hour drama script to a CAA agent contact from a friend in 2020 after graduating from a master's program in English. She offered to find me work, but then COVID hit. I resent the script a few months ago and got a pass. Now I have no idea what to do. I have that script and I am working on a feature now, but I am still trying to figure out how to make some connections and find my way in. Thanks again,
