5 days until NO CAST
5 days people! 5! We are almost free of this pesky spica cast! This has been a long 3 months but there is light at the end of this tunnel and its 5 days away!
Let's talk parenting struggles and video games. The struggle with my 4 year old and Minecraft is REAL.

I'm back! Sorry for the break Miles has lost my SD card which I have yet to find. The countdown is on! 2 weeks left of Jade being in a spica cast! We are so excited to be getting this cast off soon and we made is through the holidays! Let's get real and talk about depression, anxiety and diagnosis. Can't wait to kiss 2017 goodbye. It's been one hell of a year.

Update since we've been home. Jade's doing very well and the transition so far has not been too bad. We are settling in and finally getting into a routine again. I am so grateful my parents are able to stay with us and help. A second surgery may still be in the future but for now I am hanging on to how that everything will heal the was they hope.

Day after surgery! Surgery went better than expected. Good news, no femurs shortening and normal spinal MRI! Resting and recuperating for now. We will most likely update again once we are home. Thannks for all the love!
