Does anyone know how sing the cords? What techniques are he is using? What voice like that called like, so I could watch some tutorials on the video. I'm just so stuck with this song.
I think it's called a falsetto
First, you can't sing a chord. You need to be able to sing multiple notes at once to do that and vocal chords only create one note at a time. Secondly, he has trained for years and is extremely talented. He is using his falsetto range, which if you are a girl it is called your 'headvoice'. If you are male then you need to get some voice lessons or watch tutorials on working with your falsetto range (safely or you will only cause damage). Chances are the reason you are having issues with the song is because your voice is different than his. So shape and work with what you have and don't focus on sounding like him.
