Stroll through Lausanne | Lumix S9
Oh dear,
hunger came at lunch,
yet we found,
only Chinese.
Before we photographed Lausanne,
a quick stroll through the city.
The hills were steep,
we were never at ease.
Later that Weekend we continued,
took the train to Montreux.
We were greeted like kings and queens.
Next time tell us where we're going,

Just testing the Leica Elmarit-R 16mm f2.8 Fisheye lens. The lens designed and made by Minolta in Japan for Leica is not a real Leica lens by all means, but still produces awesome looking images. What a gem of a video ✨ triggered a nostalgic feeling of my childhood in the 80’s/90’s …can’t go wrong with an r-lens, most people go for the m-mounts, but the r’s are more like hidden gems 💎

Yes, slightly graded. Not too much. The colors were all over the place. Some shots were shot in V-Log some not, so I had to match them.

Great, great lens with few rivals, for film, available at a ridiculous price. On digital it loses some of its qualities, especially at maximum apertures, like many Zeiss lenses for Contax.

Hi, Do you still love your Contax 28mm F2 Hollywood? Would you recommend it over the Zeiss Distagon 28mm F2? I am wondering which one I should buy. The "Hollywood" lens is very old and I wonder if I can get a good copy. It's a damn expensive lens.
It's the same design I think, only the coatings have changed....
I have the APO-Macro-R 100 mm f/2.8. It is an impressive lens on my M11 Monochrom. Well worth what I paid for it.

I want this lens, the 57 f1.4 was my first film lens I started getting into Sony mirrorless. I’ve since expanded the collection enormously. I have oodles and oodles of FD, hexanon, and rokkor glass.

Thank you. Traveling with the S1H is pretty cumbersome, thats why I switched to the S5iix for personal stuff. For commercial work the S1H is still the main camera as I prefer the footage coming from it.
great footage - what is your experience using the 80mm vs the 90mm if I may ask - any preferences there - how do they differ form your point of view ?
Both are quite soft wide open, the Summilux a little more. They both look quite the same to me. Both have quite bad CA (real bad), but if you dont shoot contrasty scenes, the bokeh is very smooth. If you want the best image quality, get the Apo Macro 100 instead. Its also a short tele which is more a versatile lens cause of the better close focus and better corrected with less CA. But if I have to choose between the 80 and the 90, it would be the 90mm. I use the 90 Cron more often than the 80mm cause of the weight difference. The 80 is huge and heavy and mine also has quite stiff focus. The 80mm is to me more of a specialty lens for lowlight shooting.

You might want to check your infinity focus on the Kowa, it looks off. Really unsharp and smeary for some reason? With the Leica 90mm you should be getting way sharper results out of the Kowa.
