The visibility was low because of low night, except that produced by the torch, the fire brick, the stamp reaching red hot color from the torch flame. Almost all light lost during the oil quenching.

I made the silver design using one of the square titanium soldering stencils. At this point it is a one of a kind of piece. It will be seen again in a video in the near future.

Of the two bags, I can still pull out magnetic material from the original concentrates bag and from the magnetic materials bag. It will take some time to go through all of this material so the viewers can expect a few more video posts. This gold is very fine flour type gold. It is also very bright in color! Comes from Nome, Alaska This kind of concentrate bag is tedious work, says the gifting miner. All will be panned by hand!

Good question. Yes, you should and will. Only for the initial use. After that you’re adding a bit of flux to every reheat of the crucible. If you watch metal melting vids some use glass and flux in the crucible. The surface of the crucible is somewhat rough. The flux is granular in texture and acts like glass when reaching melting temperatures. It pulls out impurities and coats the surface so that the metal may flow over it (the crucible) without sticking. Picture a glass with water in it. Same idea with the crucible. Soon be recording some silver projects.

How do you season the pan? Update: When I did a google search you video was the one on top. I have a very low tier model and this brand goes over 1k in price. I’m at the $400 model. My city does not require a permit to use in a park but they don’t allow any digging. It does great with large silver coin or 22k gold. The gold in my series called Gold Concentrates was mined in Nome, Alaska. Add a good drop or two to your pan or a little more to the water supply used to separate the heavies, sands , from the gold ore in the gold pan. (In my pan I used AJAX liquid soap, its cheaper than DAWN brand but if you add water to your existing collection area the new water maintains or regains its tension on the water surface or will add to the water tension in the collection water, add more soap to maintain broken water tension.) Apply the same to your snuffer bottle to capture the gold from you gold pan or from your collection area. The gold i heavy but also completes with other heavy materials in your concentrates. swish the water over the sands and reveal the gold ore, using a pan with ridges will also help trap the gold ore and ease the separation process of the heavies, sands, heavy materials in your collection area.
