Bro 144hz is a must have for me to play higher AR's than 10. Literally 15% acc boost at AR 10.4 or higher for me. Downside of higher Hz is my nomods suffer because I'm not used to the increased reaction time

I want to note that nowadays 120-144hz monitors go very unexpensive, for around half the price of a normal brand new 1080p 60hz monitor, you can get a used one. Sometimes for even a third of the price! For 70USD you can get one, and if you're lucky, even less! Also, the brand new ''off brand'' monitors are really nice in my experience, you can get for very cheap, around 70-100 USD usually :) I have two chinese no name monitors and I just gotta say that technology is really advanced at this point in 2024, and it's hard to go wrong even if it's a noname brand. If it has good reviews, it most likely just rocks. I have had my chinese high HZ monitor since early 2022 and it's perfect! no dead pixels or ghosting none of that. It was $200USD (shipping included) for my 27inch 400hz 1080p! A few friends also got similar ones and they don't have any problems with them (i can just say the build quality feels so cheap but does it even matter? it's gonna be standing on my desk anyways haha...) Back in 2017 I got my first 144hz, it was an AOC and it was 650USD, I will never forget that price, that was insane back then! But nowadays, in 2024, I say I wouldn't agree with your part of the video where you say it's not worth it to pay 'so much money to get better at a circle clicking game'... I think it's great, if you can afford things that you recommend here like tablets and keypads, you can definitely save a bit more and grab a 144hz that will not only be good for osu! (like a keypad and a tablet), but also improve the quality of life in general, and improvement in other games as well! Some people watching the video might be in a position where they have to buy a new monitor anyways, and it would be good if you could have recommended what I'm suggesting instead, people shouldn't be scared of the prices, they are now the cheapest they have ever been! and the people selling 1080p 60hz are in shambles right now! They're just praying people don't find out they can get higher HZ for the same price, or even half or third the price as their monitors! People still buy them, they're still in business, because most of ppl buying those are not into gaming at all, so they get away selling something that costs them like 10 bucks to manufacture, the color is not even good most of the times, it's insane! Apart from that, great video!

Honestly, upgrading to a better monitor was the only instance where i really felt instant improvement. I was instantly able to read AR10 without difficulty and cross screen jumps were suddenly easier to aim. So I don‘t think it‘s overhyped

I haven’t seen any one talk about how bad mouse pads can get. Mouse glide is something I wish I knew about before I bought 5 different mouses thinking that was the problem. Glass mouse pads are awesome but expensive as heck. Made it to rank 25k in 2018 living with an ever changing amount of mouse glide degrading over time.

I use mouse right now and I want to switch to tablet. I am currently a 6 digit who can comfortably stream 260 bpm with my left hand. The problem with switching to tablet is I dont know what hand to use my tablet on. I am left handed, so using my right hand is a disadvantage for me and I dont want to give up my really good tapping on my left hand. CAN someone find a solution for me ;(

I tried tablet, it might've worked but i can't find a comfortable position to hold the pen. honestly just an issue on my part, different people will experience different hurdles etc etc I switched from 60 to 165 hz recently and i literally can't tell the difference in gameplay

i broke my finger like a month ago and they gave me a tape to hold the thingy that put my fingert back in place and i just used that as a grip lol its great
