Out of a negative situation (the actual COVID-19 pandemic) a positive idea was born : cooking at home, sharing the cooking process with the family and why not, inspiring other people to have courage to go beyond their comfort zone.

Das Kraftwerk Ensdorf, ein stillgelegtes Kohlekraftwerk im Saarland, wurde von 1961 bis 2017 betrieben. Es hatte eine Leistung von 430 Megawatt und bestand aus drei Blöcken, von denen jeder zur Stromerzeugung aus Steinkohle diente. Block 3, der größte Block, wurde 1972 gebaut und hatte eine Leistung von 310 MW.
Nach der Stilllegung im Jahr 2017 begann 2023 der Rückbau des Kraftwerks. Ein bedeutender Schritt in diesem Prozess war die Sprengung des Kühlturms am 30. Juni 2024. Dieser Kühlturm, 115 Meter hoch, war ein markanter Bestandteil der Anlage. Zusammen mit den beiden Schornsteinen von Block 1 und Block 3, die 150 bzw. 180 Meter hoch sind, wurde der Kühlturm gesprengt, um Platz für eine neue Nutzung des Geländes zu schaffen .
Auf dem Gelände ist die Errichtung eines Gewerbe- und Industriegebiets geplant, wobei unter anderem der US-amerikanische Chiphersteller Wolfspeed und der Automobilzulieferer ZF ein Werk für Siliziumkarbid-Halbleiter bauen wollen, das etwa 1.000 neue Arbeitsplätze schaffen wird.

It had a capacity of 430 megawatts and consisted of three blocks, each used for generating electricity from hard coal. Block 3, the largest block, was built in 1972 and had a capacity of 310 MW .
After its decommissioning in 2017, the plant’s deconstruction began in 2023. A significant step in this process was the demolition of the cooling tower on June 30, 2024. This cooling tower, standing 115 meters tall, was a prominent feature of the facility. Along with the two chimneys of Block 1 and Block 3, which are 150 and 180 meters tall respectively, the cooling tower was demolished to make way for new uses of the site.
The site is planned to be redeveloped into a commercial and industrial area, with the US chip manufacturer Wolfspeed and automotive supplier ZF planning to build a silicon carbide semiconductor plant that will create about 1,000 new jobs.

Ce frumos a fost demolat! A fost dupa parerea mea o intervention chirurgicala, cu semnatura germana: turnul cel mare a cazut perfect vertical, iar celelalte doua exact in acelasi perimeter. Amprenta pe sol a celor 3 demolition a fost minima, iar demolarea a decurs perfect. Daca acest lucru se facea la noi... Mi-a placut lucrul facut nemteste! Pupici 🫠🤗

Bonjour Denisa, magnifiques épisode.😂 J'ai rigolé car a force de voir de cigarettes dans zone cubaine quand je t'ai vu avec la glace dans la main pour un fraction de seconde j'ai cru que tu a un gros cigarillos dans la main😂😂😂 😂😂😂. Poke Poke mmm l'assiette était belle. Sur la plage de Sarbota j'ai cru que je suis sur les îles Glorieuses ou le sable est identique et fantastique. Super merci beaucoup pour ces moments magiques ❤
🤫 Ich war aber! Ich hatte sogar ein paar coole Fotos vor dem Laden mit der Zigarre gemacht, natürlich konnte ich die nicht posten! Ha, Du hast mich erwischt 😉 Das Essen war super, egal, wo wir gegessen haben! Wir haben eine Kur von Fisch und Meeresfrüchten gemacht, phänomenale Gerichte. Ja, der Sand von SaraSota ist einzigartig, der erinnert mich wiederum an Australien, WithSunday Island. Auch dort ist der Sand aus Quarz und der brennt nicht unter den Füßen, egal, wie warm es draußen ist. Und auch wie dort, in Australien, es ist nicht erlaubt, den Sand mitzuführen. In Australien wäre es auf jeden Fall sehr teuer gewesen, falls du am Flughafen mit Sand von dieser Insel erwischt worden wärest, hättest du eine Strafe von 30.000 australischen Dollars bezahlen müssen. Postskriptum: du schuldest mir eine Antwort: mit welcher Fluggesellschaft bist du nach Bora Bora geflogen? Es kann sein, dass UA-cam die Antwort löscht, zumindest schreibe die Route auf. Hallo lieber Wolfgang, Vielen Dank. Wir waren um Mittagszeit da. Tagsüber, genauso wie in Miami war, gibt es nicht viele Menschen draußen. Es war Extrem heiß. Abends allerdings waren die Straßen überlaufen. Wahrscheinlich in Ybor auch, wir waren dort nur tagsüber, es war ein kurz davor geplante Transit auf dem Weg nach St. Petersburg/ Florida. Tampa Downtown war nicht sehr interessant zu besuchen, deswegen haben wir dieses Tampa‘s Viertel genommen. Liebe Grüße und ein schönes Wochenende 🥰❤️
Super tare, cocosi pe "main street"!🤣 Puteam sa jur ca va aflati in Cuba. Mi-a placut experienta cu tramvaiul. Ohh, ce bucurie sa va vad si pe voi.😍 Inteleg, ca oarecum si voi ati fost pe fuga, nu ati avut timp sa vizitati toate punctele de atractie, nu-i nimic, data viitoare. Wow, ce frumoasa este plaja Saint Petersburg! Nisipul este ca faina. Si tu iti ridici degetul mic cand filmezi, ca si mine. 😀 Trista povestea celor 35 de persoane...Continuand, cate locuri frumoase exista pe lumea asta...cad in visare acum. 🙂 Olala, si Siesta Beach are o plaja superba, dar banuiesc ca toate sunt cam asa. Un videoclip minunat, cu siguranta v-ati incarcat bateriile!😍❤💕
Buna dragilor! Daaa, așa am crezut și noi, deși nu am fost niciodată acolo (nu mai este pe lista, am văzut o aici de multe ori). Plajele sunt minunate, noi însă am fost mereu în tranzit și nu am avut timp suficient să lenevim la soare, deși siesta beach ar fi cea mai frumoasă dintre toate! Nouă ne plac între timp plajele unde sunt mulți copaci sau palmieri, pt a avea umbră nu prea mai tolerăm soarele ca în tinerețe!😄 daaaa, degetul mic stă tot timpul în cale 😂 da, nu numai lucruri frumoase, dar și triste afli când vizitezi un loc nou… bateriile au fost încărcate și descărcate în aceeași măsură!😅 Multumesc mult pentru vizionare și va doresc un weekend plăcut!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌺🌺🌺
