The High Point Monument was constructed to honor war veterans by Colonel and Mrs. Anthony R. Kuser. The tower stands at 220 feet tall, and the base measures 34 feet square. We visited Stony Brook the day before Halloween. The Stony Brook Village Center hosted a scarecrow contest that took place across the mall. The scarecrows were very creative and eye-catching. We visited Mystic, Connecticut, again. Mystic Pizza is our favorite restaurant, and we crave their delicious seafood pizza. Hyeonju recently learned about sea creatures, and we wanted to show her the living animals in the aquarium. The beluga pool was so dreamy, with belugas swimming next to Hyeonju. She was so excited to see penguins flying in the water.

We went camping for two nights at Heckscher State Park on Long Island, NY. This park offers a variety of activities for kids. We enjoyed playing in the sand at the beach, had fun on the rides at the playground, and spent time in the camping area. We visited Stoudtburg Village, a residential and shopping area featuring German architecture. The town was beautiful, but unfortunately, many shops were closed. We had a great time trying the pasta and pizza at Two Cousin's Pizza Ristorante. We went to Bethpage State Park in Long Island with Ellie. Ellie enjoyed riding the ladybug at the spacious playground, and we cycled along the bike path, feeling the autumn breeze.

We visited the historic Queens County Farm Museum. The Farm started to operate in 1697 and still operating farm today. There are farm animals, patches of farming crops and exhibitions of buildings are tractors. There also several paid attractions such as the corn field maze and the hayride. David, Diana, and Ellie met many farm animals and had a great time at the farm.

We visited Sagamore Hill, the House of the Theodore Roosevelt. We were lucky to get in the last house tour. The artifacts in the house were very interesting. The knowledgeable rangers narrated and explained the behind stories of the artifacts. The park store and exhibition were worth to visit. #longisland #newyork #sagamorehill #theodoreroosevelt

David, Diana, and Ellie went to the Industry City to meet Grace, Paul and Prisca. We visited the Sunrise Mart, Japanese restaurants in Japan Village, Li-Lac Chocolates and many stylish stores. Industry City is such a great place to shop, dine and hang out together. #brooklyn #industrycity
