Banjo intro to "The Mountain," as played by Ben of Lost Dog Street Band
Quick banjo tutorial. My apologies for the light and framing. I seem to have lost my phone clip that goes on my tripod, so I have to be creative.

Story Time: Texas Whopper

The Texas Whopper has a special place in my memories. Here's the story, wrapping up a brief review. I'm pretty much everywhere online @carljma. Comment, like, share, subscribe, etc.
How I got my name and what you can do to it to annoy me.

Today I was prompted by a mistake on my son's birth certificate to talk about my name, why it is important to me, and what people do to my name that makes me angry. #1MinVlog is an experimental project for my Instagram. And maybe my work, too, under a different name. Full HD video and the full, mostly unedited stories here. Filmed and edited on Galaxy Note 5 with Power Director app.
awesome
how are you tuned
Standard open G.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I appreciate it and will forever respect you.
Thanks so much for this, one of my favourite songs on clawhammer. It's taking me a while but its slowly beginning to sink in. Thanks from London, England!
very nice my friend ....took the work out of it for me
How are you playing that d minor
pretty sure he's playing 3rd fret on teh second string, second fret on the third string, open 1st and 4th
It's really neither a D minor nor a D major, it would be a D5 or D(no 3rd). It's the easiest way to play a D in open G tuning.
I love the video and it by far helped a lot! I just keep having one problem. I know you said how the strumming pattern goes at the very end of the video, but I still can not get the correct sound. Could you explain it agin?
Could you do a guitar tutorial, like the Sierra Ferrell version?
Why the fuck is this in my suggested videos stream??
Good job home slice
Hey man can you write it onto a tab and possibly upload that?
I learned this song months ago thanks to this video. Thought I'd just come back and say thank you, it's one of my favorites. Also, is there anyway you could tell me how to do the solo right before the third verse?
Absolute legend! Thank you for this!
I've wanted to learn this song for a long time. are you in open G tuning?
Yes this is in g tuning
Thank you!!
Hey man, just wanted to say thank you for this. Helped me a lot!
Great job! Is there a way you can tell me the order of the chords he goes into after the intro? Or where I could maybe find them?
Luke Bracelin thanks. Fair warning, I am commenting from memory with my banjo nowhere nearby. I do G (I was born on this mountain a long time) Em (ago, before they) G (knocked down the) Am (timber and) C (strip mined the) Em (coal). If that doesn't sound right, switch the Am C to C Am.
That sounds perfect! Thank you so much for getting back to me!
Incredibly helpful! Thank you sir!
hope you are doing good man!!!
MayitoTek doing good. New baby and a couple other projects kind of slowed my videoing.
Glad to see this video passed 1K!!
thanks dude! thats the best demo of this song i've seen so far. Even better its Ben's version of it :)
stryder23 thanks. It's probably the most complicated song I have ever figured out without tabs or chords. I guess I am getting the hang of this thing after 2.5 years 😅
I can't remember last time I had BK.. 😁 makes me want to go have one now..
MayitoTek thanks for watching and following. hope you get to try this burger!
Carl James one of this days.. I don't know if is the camera or that burger is huge..🍔
Like the background man, where did you shoot this video?
ExpressOclock thanks! I'm in central Utah. A small town called Fillmore (after the president)
