How many in the USA?
FIRE🖤
I miss Germany 😢💛
I'm movinnn
600 € rent for 2 people?? This cannot be baden-württemberg lol
So you're managing to eat for just over 3€ p/p p/d?
i live in the neighboring country and jeez im moving there
that’s pretty frugal. not impossible but definitely on the lower end.
Not really. The rent is reasonable (i pay more but live in one of the most expensive cities in Germany) we spent about 80-100 Euros per week and keep in mind, that we both work out pretty regular so we need more food than the average person
what city is this if i may ask?
The tram is going to Finthen, which IS a suburb of Mainz
15-20 Euro a week on shopping and going out? BS. Was nodding ahead until that, you’re not going out to the markets, the spring festivals along the river, out to clubs and bars with German students? Like what?
They are a couple. They don't need to go to the bars.
I think that really depends on your lifestyle. Not everyone wants to go out every week. I'm a German student too and I think that's definitely a reasonable amount. (The groceries is what shocked me the most, these days 20€ per person is wild.)
Not everyone wastes money on that shit
wtf u eating for $47 a week
Aldi is notoriously affordable and groceries in the EU are much more accurately priced than in the USA. Just go to a Korean or Latin supermarket and you'll see prices that are half of traditional stores here. Food in Germany is way more simple, and by simple, I mean natural. The government subsidized real food and agriculture, not just corn for processing.
Fr, when I was doing my foundation in germany I spent around 60 euros a week for one person on groceries
@@starhealer3635German grocery stores are also way more cheap than neighbouring countries, when a German visited me he was shocked, when I visited Germany I was floored, if I would live near the border I would just cross it to do my groceries (like some people near the border actually do)
Theres not that much of a difference@@anoni6108
It says public transit plus tuition is $370 a semester. Is this real life??
Yep. I'm a student in Germany and I pay 72€ a semester. My school doesn't offer a transport ticket, you have to buy that one separately. it costs 29€ a month (soon it'll cost 39€ a month) and is valid throughout all of Germany.
@ One single class (3 hours/week) at my state university in America (not like a crazy private school like Harvard) is about $800. We are getting effed over.
I go to a private school that’s literally 8k a semester but it’s for a medical degree so it’s “worth it”
I pay 90€ a month for transport because I have to commute quite far and need several tickets and 350€ a semester for uni because I go to a more expensive university with a better teacher:student ratio and more practical exercises. So that's the highest end, if you don't go to private uni.
Yes, my dream uni has costs barely under 300€ a semester
The Mcennedy products look good , probably better ingredients too
In Poland, the main universities offer free tuition as long as you take the course in Polish, there might be another requirement but then it’s free
Really good point about us being taught to “endure our circumstances”! You don’t have to; there are options that can give you the freedom to breathe
The pancake mix is good tbh
La via per l obesità 😂
Lidl they will never make me hate you
We stan Lidl 🫶
In my country we don't have American products in supermarkets, we have a couple American themed shops, where we sell American brands that we can't buy here though
American think that hotdogs are Americans 😂
we Italians react the same way when in the USA stores they sell "italian" products
@mariselladuemila yess
Yes we all know that 😅
@@beyondthestates1 that’s ok
@@beyondthestates1 everyone react so bad, it's ok🤣
Actually pancake mix Is really good.
American food culture : being fat.
Where is real food?🤦🏻♀️
Yeah, in Lidl the american food section is dominated by Mcennedy😅
My god it looks so sad and disgusting...like 99% food in LIDL
Calling all food in LIDL sad and disgusting? In this economy? Nah you're trippin
I mean... Is there more? 😅😂
Hot dogs and hotndog accessories
Not in Europe, but in LIDL. Huge difference. lidl is just that special kid in school, everyone thinks it's kind of cringe, but we love it anyway.
Just a reminder that tuition free in Germany neans you don't directly pay ypur professors and the University, but you still have to pay a small fee to pay for a few other things (Semesterbeitrag) In my uni it is about 120€ twice a year. In others it is about 400€. So not tution but not completely free.
I’m from Italy and I’d love visiting the States.
That's how every city looks outside the historical part in Europe, too. Also, that looks like a highway. Highways are effing depressing everywhere.
But you have amazing National Parks , breathtaking !!! As a French , my Dream was to go to the US 😊
The National Parks are definitely one of our most beautiful features 🏞️
✌🏻🇮🇹Long live Italy number one in the world!!Envied by all!! For its magnificence unique beauty in the world!!
😂😂😂 "Envied" by who exactly?
Italy ❤
At least it is a nice mountain.
I live their
As someone from Europe who visits the US often, I promise you these “3rd places” are full of tourists. Everyone’s happier when travelling. Even when I travel to sketchy places in my country, or somewhere rough in America like Philadelphia, it’s still an interesting adventure for me.
Oh my poor things😂😂😂😂
Just think about the traffic in Rome( and today's kindness). I'm sure you'll feel better.😅
As If you had'nt trafic in USA..
Was that utility price really just for one week?! Or should it have been for one month like the rent?!
Hello, I live in Italy. If you think it's hard to return to the United States from Europe, it's because you don't know what it was like for me to go this summer to visit my relatives in Brazil. I wanted to go back in moment I got there. I only came back for the family.
Sono stata in Brasile per me è mille volte meglio l'Italia ma secondo me col fatto che hai parenti laggiù la vivi meglio che da turista
@@8iesjcx314 no, invece.
God bless you keep doing what you love ❤😊
Dear (Beyond The States) Hope you are doing well. I was analyzing your UA-cam channel . I'm really impressed by your videos but your UA-cam channel has some issues. You have made many videos but your UA-cam channel is not getting views and subscribers. Your thumbnail design is not attractive, you should use good thumbnails to increase your video views, because a good thumbnail increases a video views. Because you have no complete SEO any videos, Channel tags are not use, Video Tag is not use.not SEO friendly title and description. If you complete all tasks then you get more views and subscribers with monetization.
it doesnt nearly completely rely on the last exam though. The Abitur is made up of 200 to 600 points that you achieve in exams in the last 2 years and 100-300 points that you can achieve in the final exams. So normally the final exams account for 1/3 of the abitur.
Isn't she talking about university, not the Gymnasium? She's even talking about semesters? 🧐 So she probably went to a university and not to school plus the abitur can be different in different Bundesländer, so I wouldn't even be sure if the point total is the same in each and everyone of them
@@GamesCourierCorrect, we are referring to university, not high school
US seems superior.
Why am I seeying this
Study sessions looks plain and simple 😅 that full table is a day in months, but it's cute. ❤
