The Tabletop Takeaway
United States
Приєднався 29 лис 2023
The Tabletop Takeaway is a board game design podcast hosted by three game designers: Ananda Guneratne, Charlie McCarron, and Trevor Muller-Hegel.
In each 20-minute episode, we analyze a published game and share our thoughts on what works, from a game design perspective.
For each set of 4 episodes, we choose a game mechanic (ex: tile placement, logical induction, tactical combat, etc.). We podcast about 3 games that use the chosen mechanic, then we have a wrap-up episode about what we’ve learned from those games and how we might implement the mechanic in a future game.

Just found this podcast and I love it! Really enjoyed the discussion around board game design and mechanics.
I don't even play tabletops, but this was a cool and relaxing twenty minutes. UA-cam does good with recommendations from time to time lol
this will never get views
Still appreciate them putting this on UA-cam even though it splits their view count.
