Thank you! I'm surprised PennDOT made it that long. Usually most sections in the state are between 2 and 6 miles.

@ConcreteSquirrel ODOT did make a two really long sections as well, US 33 near West Virginia and South Athens, and US 24 to Fort Wayne

Interstate 99 has to be my favorite highway. Used to travel on this highway every two years or so to visit by grandma who lived in Edinboro. It's a shame they decided to resurface the concrete north of exit 81 with asphalt around 2021.

Me too! Always liked this road since I was a young child. Wish they made more highways that sounded like this.

Delaware Route 1 is a classic! One of my favorites.

Thank you Drake! I greatly appreciate that. I've always loved that section of I-99, it's a classic! Used to always go up that way twice a year to visit my grandma who lived in Erie before she passed. I made a video on I-99 a few months ago on the concrete section from exit 73 to mile 83.4. If I ever go back up there, I hope to record exit 73 south to exit 52 someday.

Sorry about not seeing your comment in time. I checked Ohio's DOT website to see if they have any records or map relating to concrete but sadly it doesn't seem so. They most likely have a internal non-published map for keeping track of sections to maintain. I used Google Earth too before finding out about the OneMap tool in my state.

Thank you for the feedback! Maybe it's just me for some reason but my D850's mic seems to sound better through the headphones I use while the new one sounds better through my phone's speaker.

I didn't record the bridge going over exit 161, just the bridges from Emlenton to the exit.

Thank You! I'm glad you enjoyed the video with the Geneva section and the I-90 bridges. Some of the bridge sounds in Ohio are much louder then in PA.

I've never been on those concrete sections in PA, so it is interesting to hear about other areas on I-81 and I-78 in PA having similar sounds to this.

I know this road being grooved longitudinal isn't the most impressive sounding, I just wanted to mainly showcase some of the bridge sounds in this video.
