    I did alot of homework before going with Boreline. My well is just over 600 feet deep and I was really worried about installing this product. I rolled it out in an S-curve stretching out 300 feet and then got setup. I had my two daughters and my wife helped me lower the first three hundred feet easy before it started to get too heavy. By that time, my 300 foot stretch that I had laid out was perfect for the rest and I had it pre-attached to a tractor that I used to lower the rest and set the pitless adapter below the freeze level. Laying out the 600 feet took a couple of hours by the time we got the electrical wires tied and all, but lowing the pump only took about 20 minutes. This was an awesome solution. My brother-in-law saw what we did and decided to do the same on his well. He was not a believer before seeing it. I would highly recommend this product. I haven't seen how it performs over years but have no reason to doubt all that I read and watched about the longivity of it. It is sturdy stuff. VERY HAPPY!!!

    Great video! I am preparing our WellHose (1 1/4") installation today and will probably be dropping the new pump, wire and Hose into the well tomorrow. I figure that we are going to experience the same color of water for a few days since this well hasn't been active in over a decade (maybe not?!). I like the prescreen for knowing the clarity of the water but we won't be able to install that until we have a pumphouse in place due to our extreme freezing in the winter months. Thank you for posting your installation and progress!

    It's not until something goes wrong you realize the worth of a product. We had to call Hose Solutions back because our newly installed pump was defective. After troubleshooting with the pump guys and getting a replacement pump, we rescheduled a time for Hose Solutions to come out and reinstall. A 2-man crew (Nicolas and Joseph) and a guest came out and quickly pulled the pump from the well, replaced the motor and lowered it back down into place. We were so happy to see water pouring out from the valve at a pretty decent rate. We're convinced that this would have been a much more costly and time-consuming process if we had used another method than boreline. We're very grateful for the expertise and professionalism of the team that came out. Plus they were a nice group of guys and we enjoyed chatting with them. This is a great product with 50 year warranty so we have peace of mind that if the pump fails again or if the water runs dry, we can simply pull this out and reinstall or install it elsewhere. Thank you so much!! God bless you and your team! I hope your business expands as this is an invaluable product. It is both cost and time saving. We would recommend it heartily!

      Hello We install a Break-off Plug into the side of our Boreline fitting that screws into the pump. When it comes to removing the pump, you lower a pipe, attached to a rope, down the middle of the Boreline. It comes to rest on the Break-off Plug. You then lift it 10ft and let it go. It drops and breaks the Break-off Plug and the water drains out back to static water level. As you raise the pump on Boreline, the water keep draining out so you are lifting an empty column. Here is a video we have of this drilled into the side of a check-valve. ua-cam.com/video/zz0HJ-Rw3Xc/v-deo.html Please feel free to call us (+1 480 607 1507) to discuss further or email us on Sales@HoseSolutions.com We hope to hear from you soon. I am so glad to have found your product. I am getting the residential version at wellhose... I plan on putting my hose on a drum and lowering it when I need it, and then pulling it out so protect pumps. My concern since the wire cable is not fastened closely to the drop line, so that the hose can expand as it fills with water, that there may be more of a concern of cable rub creating a short?

      @HoseSolutions 11 місяців тому

      Hello AA and thank you for your future business. No need to be concerned as we include Cable Straps that are used to support the power cable along the entire length of the Boreline and WellHose. You strap these around the power cable and around the Boreline. They hold the power cable against the Boreline and they will not restrict the flow during pumping. You are are all good ! Cheers

    Took a gamble in 2021 when my 1hp pump died. After pulling the pump with 110' of 1.25" hd pvc screw pipe with extremely corroded stainless couplings that had been in the well for over 15 years, I decided that there had to be a better way. In my research, I found WellHose. Easiest well install I have ever had and I did it without any help at the age of 72. I am currently having pump issue again so out she comes. Never dreamed it could be so easy again by myself and 74 years old. There is no way I could have done it if it was installed with hd pvc. I would have had to hire somebody to pull the well which I have never done in my life! Absolutely worth the gamble, physical wise as well as financial wise!

    I’ve now bought WellHose for 4 different wells at our nursery, home and for a commercial property. At first it seemed a little pricey compared to PVC & galvanized pipe. And those were the materials existing in our various wells. But once I considered the cost of having our local well driller come and pull pumps from even our relatively shallow wells of 60’-90’, it became clear very quickly that WellHose costs far less than paying the driller to pull pumps hanging on rigid pipe. And let me tell you, pulling 80’ of 2” PVC pipe partially filled with water and a 70lb. pump at the bottom is no small task. I’ve done it! Even 1” PVC pipe out of a well is a challenge without a bunch of tools, machines and helpers. Add that to the possibility of dropping slippery PVC pipe or incredibly heavy Galvanized pipe back into the well, which I almost did last week, and it makes WellHose (which is kind of impossible to “lose” down a well) a super-easy-choice. The long and short of it is that WellHose is incredibly easy to work with, is light, is incredibly strong (watch the videos by BeeCaveDrilling), has really significant fittings and clamps, absorbs a significant part of water-hammer effect, is designed in a way that allows easy attachment of the electric pump wires and has basically made it possible that we can easily pull pumps if and when we have problems in a well. And unfortunately we’ve had to do this several times in the last month. Remember, I have a nursery and four wells on 3 properties. Add that to the fact that there are relatively inexpensive but well-built pumps out there and it means that instead of paying a well driller $3000 for a pump and another $750 or $1000 just to show up on my property, I can pull the pump myself and put things right. For someone who likes having a sense of agency around my water supply, finding WellHose has changed everything.

    I have a question? lets say my well is getting tree roots merging around well casing, how would this product withstand getting ripped or punctured, when retrieving the pump?

    • @HoseSolutions
      @HoseSolutions Рік тому

      Hello and thanks for the question. It is important to know that roots will not really grow more than 6ft to 8ft below the ground level. They rely on water but also on oxygen from the surface. If you have roots around the well casing and if those roots break through your well casing, these roots will grow around any drop pipe and power cable you have installed and I think it may be difficult to get anything out of the well. Before that happens, I would recommend digging down around the well casing and cutting back the roots that are causing the damage. You could then install a new piece of well casing. I would even suggest a second, larger diameter casing that can be a kind of protective sleeve that is placed over your actual well casing before you backfill everything again. You could fill the gap between the well casing and your protective sleeve with concrete or just leave it as is. I hope this helps. Cheers

    I have had Boreline pipe in my Jordan well since late fall of 2019 and have been very happy with it so far. I had issues with electrolysis corroding the joints on my steel drop pipe. It dropped to the bottom of the well twice, after replacing it twice and adding cathodic protection it still corroded the joints after 18 months, I decided to go with plastic pipe. In doing so I had to reduce my motor to 60 hp reducing production. After 2 years the plastic cracked and snapped in two. Being out of options I decided to go with Boreline drop pipe and it has served the City well since installation other than having to pull it for lightning taking out the motor. I was also able to increase the hp of the pump and motor to 75 hp boosting my production back up. I would recommend Boreline to anyone having these issues or to use as your drop pipe in general. I also just used it in my new Silurian well and hope to have the same results for years down the road. Brett Mehmen City of Tiffin Iowa

    I opted to use Boreline FlexiRiser for our 820' deep well and it was the best choice for this that I could have made. I have had to pull the pump three times due to failures (I discovered too late that the well's water temperature was above spec for the pump) and being able to pull the pump myself has probably save me thousands of dollars vs having it done commercially. I made a puller using a small and a large cable spool mounted on a trailer using an "A" frame, and a vehicle winch. Though this system works, it takes me about three hours to pull the pump (time to allow the winch to cool down every few pulls, and time to rewind the winch (only get 50 feet per pull)). This Speedy Pump Puller is so much faster (one continuous pull), convenient (mounts in a pickup bed), and accurate (can easily align the pump over the center of the well casing) than the system I have been using. I highly recommend using the Speedy Pump Puller system for a very fast and very easy DIY installation of well pumps using Boreline FlexiRiser.

    Very interested in your product. I have a ranch property in South Texas with several water wells that were drilled for rig supply (frac ponds). I'd like to use one for personal use (5-10 gpm would be more than fine). The problem is that these are high volume producers (700+ gpm) and the 100 hp pumps are set at about 670 ft and require 460v 3-phase power so unless I buy a very pricey mobile generator, my best bet is to pull the pump from one well and set a much smaller one in. Static water level when drilled was 350 ft. I think a 240v pump set on 400 ft of Boreline Flexiriser would be perfect and enable me to maintain it myself once installed.

We have lots customers who have bad experiences with depth and temperature issues and pumps falling off when they try and install or retrieve their pumps especially when the PVC pipe bends just a little. The WellHose makes handling much easier in all types of weather conditions. If you ever have a problem please feel free to give us a call and we will help you out. Cheers.

    What type of plastic is this made from? Does it leech any chemicals?

    • @WellHose
      @WellHose 2 роки тому

      Hello and thanks for the question. The WellHose is made of polyester and polyurethane. It does not leach chemicals however if you are looking for NSF Certification then you have to use our Boreline. You can check it out at www.boreline.com Cheers

    It appears to be a rocky area what did you use to dig that hole, did you first used water detector to locate water bed?

    • @HoseSolutions
      @HoseSolutions 2 роки тому

      Hello. The water in this area is very deep. They use a drill rig to drill and dig the hole. I do not know how they detected the water but I think the driller just kept drilling until they reached the water. Cheers

    Just installed a WellHose in Wisconsin using a pitless adapter. It went very well the pump was set at about 60’ and I was able to pull and install by hand even after the hose is filled with water. If I have to set another pump I will be coming back for another WellHose. (By the way I’m a pretty small guy at about 150 pounds soaking wet)

      Hey Kromazone. Thanks for the comment. Polypipe could work on smaller and shallower wells. But if you want to produce real water from real depths, polypipe simply won't cut it. Good luck, my friend. We are always available at 480 607 1507 should you have any questions. Cheers.

    It seems like an awesome way to set your well pump however I’d like to see how it’s pulled when full of water since most small pumps have a check valve in the bottom making everything heavier. I typically use poly pipe for my wells and would be would be interested to see a video comparing this new style hose to poly

    • @HoseSolutions
      @HoseSolutions 3 роки тому

      Hello and thanks for the comment. Whether you pull poly pipe or WellHose, the column will be full of water so the weight is the same. The advantage of WellHose is that you can bend and fold it and there will be no damage. it does not kink and break. Check out this video to see how easy it is to handle and install. ua-cam.com/video/Dzy5zS4EMOo/v-deo.html We would love to work with you on your next project so please give us a call. 480 607 1507 Cheers

    I would like to see a video of puling the pump when the hose is filled with water. How do you do that?

    • @HoseSolutions
      @HoseSolutions 3 роки тому

      Hey Kent. You need to eat your Wheaties before pulling the pump !! Seriously though, as an example, 100ft x 1.25" WellHose full of water only weighs about 120lbs. You just need to be able to lift that over the Casing Roller and then pull or drive away from the well and you are good. The cool thing is that you can bend and fold the WellHose and it will not break. This stuff is tough. We are also currently fabricating a new Casing Roller for easy retrieval when the weight exceeds 100lbs. We'll send you that information as soon as we have it completed. Cheers

    We just dropped our well pump yesterday. 180 foot, we atrached a cable to pump fir extra security (didn’t want to risk going fishing fir pump if we dropped it). Lowered it down using the the casing roller. All worked great. We did have to accommodate the roller to fit with the well head seal as ours is a domestic well. The only issue we had was tying the straps. I'm a bit obsessive to making exact, and we had a flat ribbon type electric cable.

    We are a small community of 20 houses with 2 wells 125' deep and needed to upgrade our 55 year old system that used 15 hp 160 gpm motors and pumps connected to 4" galvanized pipe that looked just like the start of the video, and the pipe in one well was less than 2 years old. Each 21' section of pipe weighs over 210 pounds, and the well we started on was about 50' feet from the nearest vehicle access so pulling the pipe meant a crane was needed that could life 4 sections of pipe plus pump and motor, or about 1000 pounds. Initially we were hesitant to spend the money for Boreline, but we saved that money not needing the crane for the new installation. With an all volunteer labor force, we were able to install a new system with just 2 people. The product is great and the customer service is outstanding. This was money well spent. For details on using Boreline in a smaller system and on how to connect the fittings and electrical cable, see ua-cam.com/video/X3xiXXQPSsk/v-deo.html which uses Well Hose rather than Boreline, but the details are the same. We had to use NSF 61 certified pipe which is why we used Boreline.

    WellHose system worked great! Spent about four hours removing 100 feet of rusty galvanized pipe and the new WellHose was installed in minutes with two people. You will need to be mindful of not over tightening the straps that secure the power cord so that the cord can slide freely, otherwise you'll have to remove the pump like I did to adjust the straps. But even so the removal was pretty simple and took less than 10 minutes. I recommend use of the casing roller that you can purchase at WellHose, it makes installation and removal much easier and ensure the hose remains protected. WellHose provided great customer service to make sure I had the right accessories to make the installation go smooth.

    This is a great product! I installed 98 feet with a 3hp three phase pump motor by hand. Just myself and 2 budies to help feed me the hose and wire. It's really as easy as the video shows. I lowered a GoPro down the the case after to see what it all looked like. Perfect, no surprises. No torque or twisting issues to worry about. I've run the pump for weeks on end now and all is well. I could pull the pump, change any worn parts and reinstall it in less than an hour I needed. And never have to call the expensive well service company. It's really a no brainers.
